That would be the coaching staff not playing the team as designed by Morey.

I don't think that's true. He really did keep Lin out too long. Sticking with the line-up that lost a good chunk of the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter is baffling.

You might or might not be right. But in any case, the momentum had shifted at that point and Gallo promptly rained 3's.

Oh you are right. My apologies.

McHale waited until Lawson went back in for him to substitute Lin. I still think that this game was lost in the 3rd Q though. But like I said not even mad at this loss.

I don't think there is anything wrong with hoping the best or wishing something better for a player you like. I mean, don't a lot of fans have favorite players on a team. Even if it is not a favorite player, I could see someone feeling that way. I often feel like that about Andre Johnson. I feel like his talent is being wasted on the Texans and I sometimes wish he could be on a better team. I am even starting to think that about J.J. Watt. I feel his talent won't be rewarded with playoff wins on this team, and maybe he should go somewhere else.

Not only that, but it indicates that McHale doesn't see the game well and will make similar coaching mistakes throughout the year.

You can call a shovel an ice cream machine, but it's still a shovel. Most of the people hating on Douglas joined after Jeremy Lin signed with the Rockets.

He put Lin in too late. Denver was on a run and getting red hot.

Are the coaches wathching Lin's minutes? Is he still not 100%?

There is nothing wrong with Douglas being super aggressive.. That's the best way he can play for his mentality and to his skillset.

Let him be wild and give him the green light just like they give Delfino. Encourage your players, especially your streaky players, but UNDERSTAND that they are streaky players.

Your job as a coach is TO MANAGE YOUR PLAYERS. TD is streaky and Delfino are examples of streaky players. When they are shooting well, they're assets and when they're cold, they hurt a team a lot. It's the coach's job to gauge the streaky players and keep them in line and sub them in and out according to their level of play at any given moments.

So basically, give your bench players a green light, but when they're getting of wack, pull them in and put in the guys who are more dependable in. That's it. It's simple. No problem with TD being aggressive. But keep him in check when the right time to do so arises.

Sorry but I gotta disagree. Lin Yes, he never backs down from a charge. TD always step away; he did that in today's game as well. I also have never seen Harden attempt to take a charge as well.
