Denver is starting to roll, now that their brutal early schedule is starting to even out. Orlando made the trade in order to tank, so their record depicts what they wanted. Thus, really, it's just Karma for 2 of the 4 teams involved in the trade.
in magic's defense they're sposed to suck, they lost a superstar and replaced him with role players. i didnt expect them to be a playoff team philly has wright and young off the bench and cant get a winning record and wtf in laker land
All I remember is Philly wrote that article making fun of DM and analytics, then they went ahead and traded their best player for someone who can't even play.
Seriously, where's the trash writer who wrote that article? I remember he phoned into Houston, and blasted the Rockets management for constantly floundering around looking for a star while he said "Philly nutted up" and went after Bynum, and got their big fish. Well, looks like all those chickens have come home to roost. Right now, the Sixers are toiling in the abysmal East because that "superstar" they acquired decided that he, in fact, was the immature headcase everyone knew him to be. Meanwhile, in Houston, while things aren't incredibly rosy right now, we have a legitimate superstar who wants to be here, we can build around, we have the youngest team in the NBA, and incredible cap flexibility going forward. I'm quite certain almost everybody would pick the Rockets future over the Sixers right now.
