Lets be honest with ourselves, Matt Shaub really isn't getting any pressure on him to do better. TJ Yates is no threat to take his job. Let's say you get someone who is from Texas and would love to play at home. (Texas is a big pride state right?) I think if we sign Colt or VY, they would turn up the heat on Matt Schaub and make him much better and want to take chances of throwing downfield. Or who knows, they could possibly take his job in the near future. I'm even with getting Case Keenum a few snaps. I'm sure he would want to put on for his city. I'm not necessarily saying get rid of Matt Schaub but I am thinking he need some motivation sitting behind him waiting/threatening to take his spot. Do you think this is a good idea?
Lets be honest with ourselves: Matt Schaub is the Texans starting QB as long as Gary is here and/or til his contract is up. Correct, he isn't getting any pressure, hasn't gotten pressure, and will not be getting pressured. That's the way they want it. This is his job. This is Gary's guy. There will not be a QB brought in to battle or push Matt, there will not be a starting QB competition. MATT.IS.THE.GUY. Agree or disagree with that, that's what it is. All this talk about bringing in a QB to replace Matt, a QB to push or battle Matt, or drafting a QB to do those things, forget about it.
Vince Young is the answer. He is the best quarterback in outside of Rodgers and Brady. We should pick him up asap and cut Shaub. VY2013

we should have drafted VY over Mario Williams. That way, The Texans cut him in 2011. The Texans have the worst record and select from the mean streets of Memorial, the hard rough school of Stratford High School. The Texans win 10 Super Bowls.
