young team.. calm down guys. doesnt everyone agree we were playing out of our collective asses for a bit there? this is even it out time. We are still ok and ahead of overall schedule. patience its a marathon ..82 games.. If I told you our W-L at this point was what it is 90% of you would be jacking off for joy.
I usually don't believe these types of threads, but I can sense some soreness in those young rockets legs. They must be tired as hell playing such an up-temple game all season long, especially harden and jeremy. I bet they can't wait for the all-star weekend, lol.
This is one person's opinion on what might happen. I have no problem with this kind of thread. IF it happens he is spot on Nostradamus mode. I am hoping for better though.
I am watching Denver and Portland games as well recently. The fact is we are not as good as they are.
I think Utah is going to take the 8th spot. They do this every year, have a minor slump, then make a surge in the 2nd half of the season to make the playoffs. So, the rockets are SOL.
They're teams composed of long, tall, athletic players with shotblocking potential. Yeah, we suck compared to them.
Denver is. Portland's not. Their schedule has been soft as heck up to now. They're going to get some rude awakenings as the season goes, especially since they're playing their starters ridiculous minutes and have no bench at all.
I think we will go back to our winning streak once Harden ends up resting for a game and the coaches realize that we have one other offensive option on our team. Until then...
Like other's have said, Denver is better than us but definitely not Portland (despite getting lucky in OT and beating us). Also, I feel the Rockets will win the next game. I really don't see anything longer than a 2 game losing streak.
They won't. They have been enjoying an easier schedule up to the last game. Tough road ahead against more .500 teams on the road. After January, it'd be our turn to relax.
Pretty sure we still have it. We gave away Dallas 1st rounder, Toronto 1st rounder, and Charlotte 2nd rounder for Harden.
