He seems to have gotten everything back on track coming off 2 injury plauged seasons. He's in a contract year, but I doubt most teams will go al in with him considering his injury past. His team is one of the biggest surprises, and if he does well in the playoff, I'm sure the warriors will at least give him the contract the same type of contract that Harden turned down from the Thunder.
He already signed the extension, 4 years 44 million. He would probably get a max contract, if he didn't. He is max player, but not the best player on championship team. Same goes for Harden.
I guess you missed him signing a 4yr/$44 million extension with GS at the deadline in October. /thread
10mil seems reasonable since he is injuries prone. i have no doubt there are teams that are willing to offer him a max
in Golden State, he is worth the max cos he is their future guard especially with not monta... On the open market, he is def not worth the max
He is not worth the max. But that doesn't matter in today's nba. If he was on the market some idiot gm would sign him to a max deal. The only point guards that are worth the max are Paul, Irving, Westbrook, rose, and rondo. Everyone else outside that group should get paid jermey lin money.
Then almost every team in the NBA would be under cap. More like, top guys should be getting 30 mil, while guys like Curry should be in the 13-15 mil range. Which happens to be rookie max today.
He's a good player. But he doesn't have the height to be a Dirk or Miller type of dominant 3 pt player. However he does have the agility to be a very good SG a la Kevin Martin.
