Great question. It was reported weeks ago--I thought--by a credible reporter. But now I see it was also, OH SNAP, Chris Broussard! http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/stor...remy-lin-knicks-point-raymond-felton-jr-smith Ughhh go away, Chris Broussard.
MWUAHAHA. So now stop deluding yourself. Morey is smarter than most of you guys. If he is no longer interested, then that's the end of the story. We are going for young, talented, and high ceiling guys. Now we can close this thread.

I would do anything not to get Gasol. I don't like his game, I don't like his beard, I don't like his accent, I don't like his wimpy frame and play. He's not anything speacial but somone who is tall that can shoot and can pass, but who wants your PF passing the ball to everyone. That's what the PG is their for.
Here they go again. Of course, it's only one opinion from the media. After the game in LA, Kobe stated that he liked Lin's decision making. http://www.isportstimes.com/articles/4596/20121206/los-angeles-lakers-trade-gasol-jeremy-lin.htm
I have a hard time imagining the Lakers paying $8mil for a backup pg, unless they think Nash will have to pay limited minutes. I also can't imagine Morey trading Parsons away. Maybe Patterson, but Parsons?
Gasol $19 mil vs Parsons $888,250. and Lin $8,374,646. LAL has Duhon, Blake, Morris & Nash at PG position. Don't believe it will happen.
"could LA trade for Lin?" = clicks generator for ESPN they were bound to run with it without much thought.
Darren Wolfson: #Twolves source: Rubio angling to play tomorrow. Still a better chance because his conditioning isn't 100% that we're a week away from that. Twitter @DarrenWolfson Minnesota Timberwolves, Ricky Rubio, Injuries | share Because the Wolves continue to be interested -- they have been since the 2011 draft -- and they will be until the Lakers finally trade Gasol someplace. The lastest rumors came here on ESPN.com on Thursday in a piece that said the Lakers continue to turn away Toronto and the Wolves with their trade inquiries, at least until Lakers brass has time to assess their team when Steve Nash comes back from his leg injury. Minneapolis Star-Tribune Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Trade, Pau Gasol | share Don't count Houston out, either, since the Rockets traded for Gasol once before and have been interested as long or almost as long as the Wolves have. I don't believe the latest speculation that the Rockets are no longer interested. David Kahn chased Gasol three months before he hired Rick Adelman, although who knows what kind of discussion they had by then concerning the team's coaching job and is any such conversations might have included personnel talk such as acquiring Gasol.
