We should do an experiment, create a zone, maybe something like city, where there will be no federal aids and will not collect any federal tax. There will be no Social security, medicare or medicaid. Let the libertarians run that city for 50 years and see how that works.
They are based on the same principle - that the immoral use of force is the source of man's political problems.
Anyone who's against the patriot act, was against invading Iraq (at the peak of America blood lust), is against the war on drugs, is for due process, and wants to audit the Fed is OK in my book.
Anyone? Is this the part where I point out that Stormfront has at least four of those positions? ( don't really know what their position would be on due process, being Nazis and all) Paul is a deranged lunatic and even if he wasn't, I don't care if his policies are the greatest thing since Christ himself, which is pretty much what his followers make him out to be. I'm not dealing with a racist nutjob and I would take ANYONE - even Bachmann or Santorum or Huckabee or thadeus - over him.
Anyone who's an anti-civil rights act, anti-choice, anti immigrant, pro-regressive taxation, published white supremacist newsletters, and wants to go back to the gold standard and generally return to the 19th century and abolish all federal oversight over corporations is a complete idiot in my book. I guess that means we're reading from different books
I didn't like him, he was backward beyond, but different is sometimes a good thing although not with him.
He built his image that way, but he really wasn't. His railing on government spending while pushing pork projects as much as he could is one example.
