Says "Rox have a young team and that Royce would fit right in if he was there, it will be hard to for him to build relationships with the team if he's not there. Says D League would be great for him. Thinks he should speak with Daryl personally, thinks the communication between FO and Royce has been bad. Rox have set up mental health appointments for him and he hasn't been to any of them."

Actually guys, we shouldn't be so hard on Royce.

I mean he's the 5th best PF on the roster, why should he have to turn up to practice in order to get game time????

BINGO! Exactly what he is doing.

His anxiety thinks he is more important than anyone else.

Screw Morris and Patterson, Jones and Motie.

He....the Royce...is from Asgard in his own mind.

I'm sure he voids his contract by being MIA at some point.

Once that happens, he can be cut and the guarantee'd contract voided.

Rox would be stupid not to have that language in all contracts they draw up.

Timing couldn't be worse for McHale.

McHale has enough to worry about right now-and now THIS???

Bull basically said Royce's tweets aren't matching up with what he sees at the rockets facility. I believe he said they don't match up with reality. He said the other guys are all young are they're a close bunch that are forming relationships with each other, but Royce isn't around. He said he believes Royce would fit in with the guys, but he's missing out by not showing up.

He also pointed out how d league has helped our young players in the past like Patterson, and Royce has been missing appointments (I assume with a specialist for his disorder).

If he is not going to keep his mental health appointments, you have to wonder how serious he is about trying to achieve a healthy relationship with the team. It does not look good.

    Bull's da man.

I predict that Royce White will never play an NBA game in a Rockets uniform.

What does he mean "forming relationships with each other"?

It sure seems like he has set all of the bridges between himself and the Rockets and fire and he is adding gas.

I don't like the sound of "communication between Royce and FO being bad". At the very least we knew he was going to be high maintenance. Holding his hand and making him feel special was part of what we signed up for.

perhaps the inconsistency Royce is pointing out pertains to those appointments. Doesnt Royce want his OWN doctor to examine him? :\

There's a reason it's called mental "illness", theres a chemical imbalance in the brain that just messes up your decision makng and ability think rationally, can't stress that enough. You don't have to be sympathetic with him, but at least know why he does the things he does. Anxiety is just the starting the point, if not treated carefully it can lead to other mental illnesses.

It's possible this has already spiraled into a depression, on account of him avoiding everything. It's not him being stuck-up, he's just ashamed that he's letting everyone down and doesn't know how to face them. You gotta give him credit that he's sticking to his belieifs and doing this without meds(which just makes it 100x more difficult) but with all the media and hardships of the NBA, I wonder if he'll make it.

He's having a tough time dealing with the situation, as are the Rockets. The worst outcome of this is that other players will use this as an example of why they don't get the same treatment when they act up, even though the cases are different. Otherwise I commend the organization for sticking with him thus far, and I hope they continue to support him. If the Rockets decide to cut him loose, hopefully he will take some
