D'Antoni system isn't at all a fit for your current rockets team not only do you not have offensive weapons for it to work but it also requires you to sacrafice defense and outscore your opponents on a night basis to things y'all cannot do with this squad terrible fit. **** pick Mike brown since ya so damn desperate. For a coach ...i don't see why but yeah

 

Lin is normally an excellent defender, but he was awful in the Memphis game, in this regard.

If Lin could start putting together complete games, like he often did with the Knicks, this team will win these ugly games.

The game tomorrow against Detroit will be telling. Something tells me Harden had those two great games because the opposition didn't know what was coming. But now that the opposition knows, he'd crashed back down to earth.

That said, I still say the team's biggest problem is the screens being set. They never provide any penetrating lanes for either Lin or Harden. This was a team groomed to run, but doesn't know how to run plays in the half-court, in which good screens are requisite for success.

McHale MUST play Terrence Jones eventually...... When your team is getting killed on the boards, it's hard to run as well.

 

Bull**** getting killed off the dribble by bayless and conley had nothing to do with team defense. Help defense is one thing, but to get blown off the driobble so easily has nothing to do with team defense. He also gambles alot on defense which actually hurts the teams defense.The teams defense is being kept together by asik who is making it hard for teams to score in the paint. Harden and Lin are a joke as far as individual or team defense are concerned.

 

Sigh, Lin is not getting the respect from his teammates anymore.

He asked for a screen from Patterson and was flat out refused, letting him shoot an long-ranged airball. What a teammate

 

Then the coach needs to get on pattersons case pronto.

 

ridiculous to just blame lin.

 

I could have sworn Lin was getting picked defending those drives...

Seriously I couldn't believe my eyes. I almost never seen it happen. I feel Patterson might get benched, and Lin and Patterson may have some tension going on.
