Man, we unloaded our future to another team who's young and primed for another Finals run. Morey really went all in on this.....guess his job is on the line this season.

 

Pretty much.

He just shoots the ball and can drive depending on who he is playing. That's it, that's all he does.

Harden is a top 5 SG in the NBA (admittedly the position is not strong...) and brings several things. I worry about giving him the Max and worry about the draft picks...but I gotta give it to Morey for being bold and taking a risk.

Also the risk was not giving up Martin and Lamb.

 

Damn, I was reading about James Harden turning down the contract this morning and thought to myself that he was going to be a Rocket anyway why try... Didn't think it would happen so soon.

Did you watch last years finals? The guy froze up and played scary 95% of the series. You basically broke the bank for ANOTHER back up guard. This Morey guy needs that pink slip

 

I'd be happy with going after Josh Smith if we didn't overpay him. Anyone have any idea how much money he's going to want??
