Hey moron stop posting. Seriously. Its really pathetic how you are posing as a Lin fan to make us all look bad. Go fap to a picture of Dragic or something. I'll make it easier for you, here:
The more impressive stat was hearing from Doug Collins that the US team of 84' set the Olympic record of FG% with like 68% or something. All in all, wow. Team USA flexing their muscles here.
I saw them live on tv and never remember them making it rain like this. They scored a lot of transition buckets IIRC
There's no way it doesn't help the argument. How much is up for debate, but the Dream Team's greatness had a lot to do with how they beat up on their competition, which was just as inferior, if not more. Margin of victory matters and so does breaking records.
For the record, I didn't remember them making it rain like this either. But my point was at least we saw/are seeing both teams to make conclusions with some actual basis to it.
Who you break records on matters, 92 team didn't break records on Croatia and this team won't likely break records on Spain. The argument about the 92 team against this team goes beyond the olympic games, because seriously the 92 team shouldn't be penalized for the world not being on par with the NBA just yet. The argument goes to the root pound for pound, player for player, which team is better.
Anyone have a boxcore, yet? Its not up on usabasketball, yet. Amazing how it seems they have a boxscore for a regular nba game, but when it comes to olympics, it take time, lol.
Player for player? I disagree with that. We're talking about one team beating another. They actually play together, it's not like an all-nba team comparison. The NBA is proof that the best team on paper isn't always the better team. How they play together and against others should definitely be considered.
Boxscore: http://www.usabasketball.com/mens/national/12_moly_game_03_stats.html Damn. 37 points in 14 minutes?? Lol. 10-12 from 3poi.t land, Melo?
Well unless you got a time machine to get these 2 teams together, we're left with with arguments about how much they beat some hapless team from africa to give evidence. And I did say the argument is which team is better, it's just that the evidence and proof to back up whichever stance is highly subjective.
