We have some real good posters in the forum who are using cases, statistics and numbers to back up their opinion. For all I've read you are the one saying names and acting like a kid.
Did you just try to claim Perkins has an offensive game? Seriously..., this guy^^^^^^ Here is the thing, based off of last years ppg and rbg averages: Perk only scores 5.7pts and pulls down 7.4rebounds per 30 minutes Asik scores 6.3pts and manages to pull down 10.8rebounds per 30 minutes. Perk as a PER of 8.69 Asik has a PER of 13.44 and guess what...Morey may sign Asik at roughly the same price as Perkins. So please, what in the hell are you talking about?
I really don't know what this thread is about because the OP is on my block list. Since I can't claim this is another DD thread, I will just say "Ignore" is a beautiful thing!!!!!
how come Perkins wasn't in this discussion? I guess it just goes without saying that he is a superior defender to Dwight and Chandler?
http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-02-15/news/31064980_1_gie-ming-hoop-dreams-brother But Lin managed to excel both academically and athletically. He attended competitive Palo Alto High — mean SAT scores 628 Critical Reading, 661 Math and 633 Writing — and maintained a 4.2 GPA, while leading the Vikings to a crazy 32-1 season and a Division II California state title. From there, he went to Harvard, where he managed to graduate with a gentleman’s B (in economics, sensible choice!) while putting up incredible numbers as the Crimson’s point guard: He was the only Division I player in the NCAA to rank in the top 10 in eight individual performance categories, and finished his career as the first player in Ivy League history to record at least 1,450 points (1,483), 450 rebounds (487), 400 assists (406) and 200 steals (225). The secret to Lin’s success seems to have been a combination of high expectations and unconditional support — a kind of tiger-panda hybrid, if you will. Daryl Morey - Trying to find it out but with not much success on his score.
Perk's post game consists of putting his back to someone and then doing a quick hook which in all actuality is just him throwing the ball at the basket with no arch to speak of. Don't believe me or think I am just hating on him go watch any of his games. If he doesn't do that then he most likely travels before he gets the chance to launch a missile at the rim.
hes a troll man, Im sure his hair is just as jacked up too see my above comment man, I was gona disprove his garbage but its not even worth the time #trollsaregoingtotroll
I think people forget how much money the Rockets get from China...especially when we have chinese stars!
OP, do you have any idea how much money linsanity brought to the Knicks? The value of the team jumped 600 million after that happenend. If Lin has half that effect with the already asian popular rockets he will be well worth the money they are giving him.
So all those years Chuck Hayes was a crappy defender too. Chuck has a per 36 average of 6 points and 8 rebounds. He also has a per of 8.89. Guess that means he was a crap defender also. Seriously.
Come on rook, fire back. I'm chill enough to take it. Make your stand, back up your opening post and subsequent comments.
Wow then the argument went right over your head. Sigh...let me help you. First it was Asik vs Perkins, Perkins is the better defender. Most GMs would pick Perkins as a better defender. Then it was, Seriously your picking this guy over Asik because of a perceived post up game. Look at his per, look at his stats per 30 mins. Then I showed Chuck's stats which are very similar in per and per 36 mins, because obviously that meant he was a poor defender. Get it now? Seriously?
