    The problem here is that you're just looking at stats and not actually play on the court. Lopez is no where near Bynum. Please stop before you make yourself look worse.

    I remember Scola having his way against Lopez a couple of years ago during a Rockets win. It was the game where Luis was in full beast mode, scoring 44 points on 20-25 shooting, 12 boards, 6 offensive, a block, and 3 dimes. Lopez had a decent game, but could do nothing to slow Luis down, and he tried.

    I've never been very impressed with Lopez. To me, he's the guy you get when you can't get a Bynum, a Howard. I'd rather take a chance on Bynum, warts and all, then "settle" for Lopez, if we can't get Howard. Not that we'll get any of the 3 guys.

    This... except for "settling" for Lopez ... The way you described how Luis worked him over makes it seems as if the Rockets should just keep Luis rather than settle for Lopez.

    Not to say that Luis should play center for us, just saying that Lopez is that bad

    I don't care what his attitude is like or who he elbowed, he's the type of player we can build around and become contenders with. Can't believe anyone would actually take Lopez over Bynum. Ridiculous.

    Some people choose not to look at people games when they judge them, i mean that would be cool...if we weren't talking about basketball. Just because bynum's a dick or whatever people like to call him doesn't mean they shouldn't want him on our team. Hell dwight could kick baby's in the face as a side job and i'd still love him on our team, maybe i wouldn't like him as a person...but i have no choice but to like him as a player and want him on our team. Talent is talent attitude or not, and we NEED talent.

    That was not my intent. Scola isn't a center, not in the NBA, although he's been put in that position often enough. No, that game just stuck in my mind. Like I said, I've never been big on Lopez. It's really comparing Lopez to Bynum. I think there's a clear difference, although Bynum is a risk.
