After X years does it get downgraded to a second rounder?

He is not consistent. 12.7 pts and 9.3 rbs for the career
11 pts and 8.3 rbs this season

Pau Gasol 17 pt and 10.5 which I consider is an average season and he can play Center

Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about.
Dwight, Bynum, Jefferson, Cousins, Horford, Marc Gasol say hi?

Please just quit now before you embarrass yourself

The pick is lottery-protected. So if the Rockets don't make the playoffs, the Rockets keep their own pick for 2012, but will owe next year's pick to the Nets (still subject to protection, and so on).

I know but did you miss his 38 points outburst... He is capable of scoring with the best... and that is rare IMHO.

If we miss the playoffs, the pick traded to new jersey in the terrence williams trade is ours this year and the obligation rolls over to next year. The pick is lottery protected, thus new jersey will only get the pick if we make the playoffs.

I believe it is lotto protected until 2016. After that, I'm not sure if that protection goes away, or it turns into a 2nd rounder. *paging Bima* lol.

and Cousins.... Today's NBA are full of PFs that are strong enough to play at Center. This is very common.

Yes, but I'm rarely dazzled by a center who is able to fill it up offensively and give nothing defensively on a **** team.

If we're backing out of Bogut talks, hopefully it's because New Jersey is calling wanting to discuss DWill for Lowry.

I don't know why yall don't see this as a steal. If, a big if, bogut stays healthy we have the second best center in the league along with a top 10 point guard. Plus i think we would still trade the Scola/Dragic/Martin + others combo for a (Borderline) Allstar. Think about the combo's, we would have a big 3 of Lowry,Bogut, and blank. Pau and Smith would be ideal but wallace, jefferson and those type of players won't be bad either.

2012 first round draft pick to New Jersey

Houston's own 2012 1st round pick to New Jersey (top 14 protected in 2012, top 14 protected in 2013, top 14 protected in 2014, top 14 protected in 2015 and top 14 protected in the 2016 Draft). If New Jersey does not receive a 1st round pick from Houston by the 2016 Draft, then Houston will convey their own 2017 2nd round pick and cash to New Jersey. [Houston - Los Angeles Lakers - New Jersey, 12/15/2010]

If Berger is accurate, he's saying now that the deal the Rockets like more than Bogut does not involve Pau Gasol.
