Why? Then we'd be just as soft inside. Kaman is a novelty offensive-big now, not worthy of more than 25 mpg - lets not overrate him. Dalembert fits better next to Pau than Kaman.
Maybe Beasley but Millicic, I don't think so. Has a horrible contract and is also kind of a douche. I remember his little attitude problem when he play Mutombo.
Not happening, Tyreke Evans is that team's franchise player... Plus, I'd rather have Cousins but he's not going anywhere either.
not horrible... Darko's contract isnt good - but not a kller.... but really, with Beasley expiring, it'd jus be a move to eliminate KMarts contract to pay CLee in offseason... I'd want more.... ive been playin with... Kmart/JHill/Bud for Pekovic/Beasley/Wes Johnson and id throw in a 2nd rd...or NY pick if I had to.... I'd even be willing to swap out JHill for sam...still works salarywie.... The fuher gets Martin to cover their biggest hole... lose Pekovic but still have a platoon of Darko, Miller and JHill or Sam to cover center... and they get a far cheaper replacement for Beasley and a draft pick... win-win...
First trade: Rockets trade: Lowry, Scola and T-Will Rockets receive: Pau Gasol Why? DM gets Pau Gasol afterall ... an 'All-Star' caliber PF/C. Lakers trade: Pau Gasol Lakers receive: Lowry (afterall), Scola and T-Will Why? They receive a starting PG (playing on an All-Star level), Scola fits nice into the rotation as (starting) PF, T-Will can learn defense from Artest/Barnes ... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=88obz7m Second trade: Rockets trade: Martin, Bud, Thabeet, future 1st round draft pick (not NY) Rockets receive: Granger, George Hill Why? Getting an 'All-Star' caliber SF in return like Granger is a no-brainer. George Hill brings extra defense and playoff experience (Spurs). Pacers trade: Granger and George Hill Pacers receive: Martin, Bud, Thabeet, future 1st round draft pick (Rockets) Why? They need Martin to start at SG so Paul George can play SF (he is the future), Bud is a nice back-up SF/SG, Thabeet is expiring and a future 1st round draft pick to seal the deal. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7zhsz46 Rockets line-up (for the remainder of the season) PG: Dragic/Flynn SG: Lee/George Hill SF: Granger/Parsons/Morris PF: Gasol/PPat C: Dalembert/Jordan Hill/Smith Dragic, Flynn and Jordan Hill have expiring contracts. We can resign Lee and/or George Hill (both restricted FA), so after this season we have: PG: ??? SG: Lee (resigned ?)/Hill (resigned ?) SF: Granger/Parsons/Morris PF: Gasol/PPat C: Dalembert/Smith We might have a shot to sign DWill, he might be interested to play with Granger/Gasol if D12 stays in Orlando or ends up somewhere else. Perhaps we have an opportunity to sign D12 as well ... starting five: PG: D-Will SG: Lee SF: Granger PF: Gasol C: D12
If a Pau Gasol deal involving Lowry does go down I'm hoping this is how it looks.... Rockets get: Pau Gasol and Rajon Rondo and Keyon Dooling Lakers get: Kyle Lowry, Luis Scola and Hasheem Thabeet Celtics get: Kevin Martin, Goran Dragic and Chase Budinger ending result: Rondo| Flynn/Dooling Lee | Williams Parsons | Morris Patterson| Hill/*Smith Gasol | Dalembert/*Smith Our defense should improve exponentially.
I was thinking/something similar to this. The Lakers, despite their gigantic TV deal, want to reduce their payroll (hence, Thabust; and the last year on Scola's deal [2014?] isn't guaranteed). The Celtics don't want to keep Rondo for the long haul. Probably have to yield that NY pick to somebody. And Ainge can yelp, Why don't WE get Lowry? And Kupchak can yelp, Why don't WE get Rondo? So it'd have to be 2 separate deals, and LAL and Bos would have to be happy with their separate hauls.
What about if kmart and the minny 2nd rd pick goes to the t-wolves and they send out beasley, Johnson, and randolph and the 2013 memphis first to boston? Boston gets talent they can try out and if they don't work, they're expiring contracts along with allen and kg. The lakers send both their 2012 1st picks to boston as well. Here's what it would look like Rockets trade- Lowry, Dragic, Scola, Martin, Thabeet, Budinger, Hill, minny 2nd rd pick Get: Gasol, Rondo, Dooling, Randolph Lakers trade- Gasol, 2012 Lakers 1st rd pick, 2012 Dallas first rd pick Get- Lowry, Scola, Thabeet T-wolves trade- Beasley, Randolph, Johnson, Mem 2013 1st rd pick Get- Martin, minny 2nd rd pick Celtics trade- Rondo, Dooling Get- Dragic, Beasley, Johnson, Hill, Budinger, Lakers 2012 1sts, Mem 2013 1st I like Lowry, but that's a move you gotta make.
Scola + Dragic + Morris for Gasol KMart + bud for Iggy Hill + NY Pick for Kaman Lowry/Flynn Lee/TWill Iggy/Parsons Gasol/PPat Dally/Kaman The best front court rotation in the league and the best defensive team in the league.
I have 3 trades done bye deadline. Trade 1 Scola, Lowry and Hill for Gasol and a LA future 1st rd pick Trade 2 Dalembert and Thabeet and a future 1st ( LA pick) for Josh Smith Trade 3 Martin for Beasley and wayne Johnson Line up Gasol/Greg Smith JoshSmith/PP or morris Beasley/Morris or PP Lee/Johnson Dragic/Flynn
Keep Kyle Lowry OUT YOUR MOUTH! Im a rumor junkie. Every morning I check forums, news, and reports regaurding trade rumors focusing around the Houston Rockets. I shouldnt, but I do get pissed off when people write about Kyle Lowry as a trade piece. NOPE KEEP HIM OUT YOUR MOUTH! Houston wont get a better PG for the price. Hey here is an idea http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=78lqaw4
Trying to decide if this is a serious thread or a Carl Herrera impression. But in regards to the proposed alternative, why would LA want that in any way?
