With the Houston Texans being eliminated from the playoffs in the 1st round of the playoffs with a 3rd string Quarterback now the question is what moves will this already solid squad make to help them make a playoff run next season. Here is a article discussing this topic http://www.draftnasty.com/football/articles/houston-texans-2012-team-needs/ enjoy.
We have a legit opportunity to get to the Superbowl - something everyone would have laughed at not that long ago - The off season moves will be key - Did well in that area last year - let's do that again
beat me to it.. but honestly we are already superbowl contenders... the difference from contending to competing is a couple smart moves...NOT splash moves...TO or randy moss wont be the difference... every year its the small moves and smart drafts that make the difference... if we could have a draft half as good as last years(along with our players avoiding the sophmore slump) well be in great shape... pick up a viable #2 recieving option, a viable #2 corner, a true nose tackle, and add to depth using both FA and the draft and thats the difference...
#18 AND NUMBER #84 JUST IMAGINE WHAT KIND OF NUMBERS THIS SEQUAL CAN PRODUCE!?!?!? (LET THE HATING BEGIN) 3...2...1...
No it was the first round because the wildcard round is counted as exactly that but I probably should have said the divisional round but that was the first round.
... if everybody returns. The Texans might get in a bidding war to retain Mike Brisiel, Chris Myers, Jason Allen and Mario Williams.
Other than resigning our own guys, WR is our only true need. Everything else is just depth. Maybe we can still upgrade or CB situation, other than that is healthy this team is set, and you can only realistically be expected to withstand so many injuries.
