It worked ok against Detroit. Giving the bench meaningful 4th quarter minutes can pay dividends. The strategy sort of backfired in this game, though.

When bench includes Jeff Adrien, bench tends to backfire. You know how Morey said Hill plays well 1 out of every 3 games? I don't think I've seen Jeff Adrien having one single good stint on the floor in the NBA yet. Limited sample, but I am not sure I want to risk expanding the sample size.

I wonder if Martin knew Sam was following him, so he might as well put the ball up since there was a good chance for the OReb.

Not sure, will have to see a replay to see where his eyes were looking...i do think martin's eyes lit up initially because he though he could draw a foul. The way i saw it, he's the bowling ball and the defenders are pins. He was looking to crash into them to draw a foul, but i dont think they lined up for him like he expected.

1/2 game out of 8th place. Still early in the season, starting to play much better and we have won some grind it out games.

We can easily gain momentum and real off another 4 or 5, the toughest will be Saturday against the Spurs, but it is at home.

With all due respect, we are playing as good as we can play. McHale is running the starters out there 40 mpg because that's the best we got. Give them another month and the wheels are gonna fall off.

I'm not being pessimistic. The Rox is my team. But you can see it coming. We won these games against most of the league's dregs. This is the top of the sine wave. You know what a sine wave is? It has a peak and a trough. We are at the peak, heading back down to the trough. This is not a playoff team. I'm sorry.

However, the good news is, we have valuable players that could make a good trade if the right one presents itself. And we are still in the Howard/Williams sweepstakes.

Dalembert is a lot better than I thought he would be. He is absolutely filling the "big" role for the Rockets, impressive.

Nothing beats winning a game you had no business winning.
