Could be just a neural issue... muscles not firing properly for him, out of sync....the hammy may have just seized up to protect itself. That can hurt bad enough to pull up and limp off like he did. Something like that can heal within days, but he could still be out next week as a precaution. I'm going to guess that's it, since the pain was nothing like the previous one.

They need to rest him for the remainder of the regular season unless we play a must-win game in the final week. That'll give him 5+ weeks to fully recover his left hammy and continue to nurse his right. If we have any chance at winning the conference, we must have AJ.

the hamstring injury might as well be the nfl's bubonic plague. It seems like everyone around the league has been contaminated with it. :p

Where is the update? How long does it take to read a freaking MRI? It's not like Andre is rolling down to his local Quest Labs this morning to get some tests run.

They never give info out, and then when they do it is generally inaccurate info or incomplete.

I'm sure the Texans know the result, but they won't talk about it until Kubiak's weekly press conference at 3:30.

Where they won't say anything substantial and will list him as day to day.

Depends on your definition of substantial. :) They won't give details, but I think we'll have a good idea of whether he can return in two weeks or if they need to shut him down until the playoffs.

Yup. Kubes will do the same song and dance he did the last time Andre missed 6 weeks with the right hammy injury..."Well, we expect Andre back next week hopefully". Rinse. Repeat.

I say shelve him for the rest of the season and have him as fresh as possible for the playoffs. We can handle one more loss. Cinci next week is our toughest game remaining, and I still think we're favored the rest of the way.

Need to just sit him till the Indy game minimum, and if we clinch before then just hold him out until the playoffs.

Bret is lost for the season. Torn ACL so very unfortunate for him. Was doing a good job. Andre - it is the oother leg. Mild hamstring. He is day to day. We do expect him back sooner than later hopefully. To answer today, we feel fortunate.

    Matt Turk coming back?

He is(a possibility). We'll work out a couple guys and make a decision.

    Worried about the field?

Thats been a topic today. I think our field looked excellent. Its put together different but they do a good job. The injuries, what we saw, had nothing to do with the field. He just got out of control and stuck his foot in the ground. Our field has been good.

    Andre playing this week?

I wont go there today. They're working with him.

Cushing is banged up. Sore knee. Hes beat up. We gotta work with him.

    Rackers will kickoff?

Yes. Unless we sign a P with KO experience.

Ha, you called it! Too bad that day-to-day in Kubiak-speak is really week to week. I'd say we'll see Andre back for the Titans game.

Andre needs to stop being such a wimp and just get out there. I'm so sick of his whining. It is getting classless.
