Although he’s no Kyrie Irving, Bobby Sura was drafted 17th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 1995 NBA Draft. But since he retired in 2007, no one’s really heard from. That is, until now. With the second season of the PokerStars.net show “The Big Game” premiering on Monday, tune in to watch Sura play with some of poker’s biggest names. there is a video about the game in the link. source link:http://dimemag.com/2011/06/where-are-they-now-bobby-sura-is-a-poker-player/
Dude only played half a season as a Rocket and is one of my favorite players ever. I think he played against the Mavs needing multiple surgeries. I'm not sure I fell in love with Hakeem as fast as I did Sura. I remember him being a Triple Double threat EVERY NIGHT.
Good for him. Still love the guy's game, I modeled a lot of my game in high school as a rebounding, crappy shooting white guard after him.
