    stats: 13.2ppg, 6.5rpg, 9.1apg, 2spg, 40.1%fg, 34%3pt

    individual accolades:
    94-95 rookie of the year
    10-time NBA all-star
    5-time all-nba 1st team (6-time all-nba total)
    4-time all-nba defensive 1st team (9-time all-nba defense total)
3-time reg season assist leader (#2 all time)
    #3 career steals

been to the finals 3 times (2 as the lead dog), with 1 ring.

personally, i think he has had a HOF career (obviously) and an all-time great. but i have a very hard time putting him in my top 5, although it's debatable.

my definite top 4 are: magic, oscar, isiah, stockton.

    thoughts?

He certainly goes beyond his statistics. Leading those crap NJ teams to back to back finals was his biggest accomplishment, IMO.

Nash has 2 MVP's and is the best shooter of all time. He will go down ahead of Kidd.

I think Walt Frazier is above Kidd thus knocking Kidd from my top5... but that's probably just because my dad is an old school Knicks fan who's talked him up a lot over the years. I was born in 88 so obviously I didn't see him play. :)

the guy had defenses backing off and yet he still could find open teammates...but i guess that's a mark against him as well (limited offense).

I think we can agree on it being around 4-6, probably closer to 4 to 5.
