If they are orphaned, it will be a great challenge for them to overcome and write about in their college application essay. But if there are too many COVID orphans in their class, such an essay would not catch the attention of admission officers.
2 days is good for surface contamination, for real. Also, when North Paulding resumes, it will be on a strictly vacuum basis.
Stop being so harsh! All the little kids are getting COVID tests right now! And if they test positive (after their results come back in two weeks) of course they will let everyone know, so they can cause the school to be shut down again and make national news again! Little kids and their parents love to get famous for having a contagious disease and shutting down the school.
Pass the buck politics. Just deal with it. I'm not going to force my followers to do something they feel they don't want or need to do. If it doesn't work I'll blame the Democrats who didn't do more at their level.
Is he stupid or just corrupt? You don’t stop transmission by having each school or district doing what they want. How long do we need to continue to have this dumb argument?
Our Secretary of Education 1. Supports "school choice" (away from public schools) 2. Is a billionaire: hey! she must know the public schools. . . . 3. Is the sister of Erik Prince, founder of Blackwater USA, a contractor for the CIA I'm sure she's got this whole public school thing well under control, from her place up in Michigan!
Coronavirus cases lead over 800 to quarantine in Georgia school district where masks not required https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...antine-georgia-school-district-where-n1236364
But they have more freedom than GOD. So much ****ing FREEDOM. Nothing covering their dirty little mouths. I'm about to COME, o LAWD.
Hello?!? This is America! If I wake up and think I have COVID-19, Dude I need a paycheck. I'm going to work. And I'm not getting tested. If I tell my employer I have COVID, they won't allow me to work! I'm a teacher. So what?
Sir, this seems the opposite of true. I don't know what the author means by "cultural Marxism" and all that, but opening schools is making public school users revolt against public schools and avoid them. Right now people who normally love public schools are afraid of public schools, on this board. Opening scares the Dems/libs/Marxists/Blue Man Group, I assert. I also think the author should not look at school opening in terms of Democrat or Republican. I hope that can be irrelevant to his consideration of the subject. I do appreciate the author's observation that there is a large class of people able to snap up vacation homes on the East Coast.
well, she's quoting Joy Pullman's piece at the Federalist; the comment is made in a larger context of private schools supposedly outperforming public schools in responding to covid-19. The political point seems to be this: Democrats are trying to have it both ways. They’ve learned that parents are not going to put up with putting school indefinitely on hold when everything from swimming to climbing stairs is more dangerous to children. But they also want to maintain the fiction that coronavirus is an emergency situation that requires tossing trillions of dollars in deficit funding out of helicopters, keeping people cooped up and restive as an election nears . . . .
