Someone doesn't know math. The vast majority of those jobs were subtracted in the previous months. It is beyond comprehension how people buy into his idea that that jobs were added. Those are jobs that returned.
Lol? People lost their jobs due to the China virus, now 8.6 million Americans are returning to work over the last three months lol
So you feel the Americans that lost their jobs due to the China virus don't deserve to return to the workforce and provide for their families? Got it
Wow... talk about arguing a strawman. Of course they should. Where did I say they shouldn't? And you just proved my point... most are returning to work. Jobs are not being added, for the most part
Strike whatever... from the time I started voting in elections in 1976, I have yet to vote for a liberal in a federal election. Good try though
Uh...the Democrats approved a stimulus in late May which included an extension of the $600/week. The Senate did not even bother coming up with their plan and/or negotiating with the Democrats until late July. When the Senate did come up with a plan, they included $200/week. The Senate plan did not include "enough money to safely reopen schools, fails to provide hazard pay for essential workers, doesn't protect financially strapped homeowners from foreclosure or tenants from eviction, and won't provide funding for food stamps and other assistance...". The House plan was 3+ trillion and they did go downward to around 2 trillion. Both sides can argue that the other included pork, but for the Senate to wait almost 2 months before even starting their plan or negotiations is ridiculous.
The Dem's plan was so packed with pork it surprises me you'd even pass is it off as an honest attempt. Pelosi & Schumer, very publicly and very transparently demanded BS that had NOTHING to do with the C19 virus. The Exec. Order today is something everyone who is hurting should be happy about. And really, the whole point is that he shouldn't have had to do it. These people are sick. I have to question anyone's motives who say this is a bad thing.
So... you are ok with the Senate sitting on that for close to two months while doing nothing to negotiate and/or draft their own bill?
