I'm just not sure why citizens are so intent on agitating these stormtroopers. They probably don't even agree with being there, but have to. How about we continue with the peaceful protests and quit with the lasers and flares and bottles?

I'll just never understand what's causing certain people to want to be as violent as possible and loot during protests. I'm sure it's the same big that causes police officers to be as brutal as possible. It's not all of them. It's not even the majority. But it sure makes a bad name for them. And it sure does impede progress.

I do not know if Cline is trying to gaslight America. But I do know that, if he is not, there is only one other possible conclusion: He does not know what an arrest is. And that, too, is extremely problematic. If the person in command of a newly beefed up federal paramilitary police force does not know whether his agents are arresting people, he cannot possibly know whether they are doing so constitutionally—on the streets of Portland, or wherever President Trump deploys these federal agents next.

 

I don’t know either and agree they cause more problems than help.

I hope more come in numbers armed in an organized fashion with discipline especially in these cities with illegal DHS presence. Show of force is the only reason those white protestors protesting shut down orders storming a state capitol building weren't threatened. They had guns and the cops knew they couldn't intimidate them.

 

These protesters are peaceful. No deaths in portland. Move away from the fires. Portland is a non story. The feds should stand down. These crimes are legal.

Wait... Some people believe that protestors were able to shine multiple laser pointers and keep them accurately focused on Federal agents eyes enough to somehow permanently blind them? It isn't hard to move or close your eyes if somehow people are capable of maintaining the aim.

Story here. At least it’s being reported that one of the protestors had a rifle cause it’s Texas... and he passed by a car where the suspect will try and claim he was threatened and shot the guy.

I do have to say legal or not, carrying a gun on 6th street in general much less on a Saturday night with a protest is probably not the smartest thing in the world.
