Elon doesn't need to b**** and moan about his stock going down. He tells you to your face his stock is too high and dares you not to buy it.
Since the 2013 fire scares, around $150s. But much smaller position back then. Built it up over the years, especially after model 3 came out. The most obvious trade ever, but at the same time fighting so much disinformation in the media which along with a slew of other issues(shortsellers) suppressed shares for so long. My investment thesis on tsla should be posted somewhere in this thread or another one from back then. Back when I was still posting my trades in here like you guys are doing now.
It's definitely an interesting stock. It's got the volatility and psychopath behavior of a micro cap but exposure and volume of a large cap all while having a cult like following.
lol. Don't worry... I'll probably hold onto it for too long -- wake up one morning and the shares are worthless because Trump said so. I sold Facebook after it tanked almost 50% down to $120 or something after holding it from around $80-$90 and well... yeah... I'm starting to worry about the market as a whole, though. But then I've been worried for a few months, so who knows. lol.
Your post confused me because I thought you were abbreviating 'tomorrow' (tmr) and I made a dumb joke... so I looked it up -- you can't make this up. Spoiler ABORT ABORT SELL SELL
actually, the fast MACD line had crossed-over the horizontal target line a couple days ago thanks to you and real shady, awa MU serving as the advance warning system, my 52.5 CALLs are working as planned. FWIW, a few TA suggestions, from the 2nd to last trading day in Jun, a green candle w a thick body, to today, draw a trend line connecting the lows for the day, you see higher lows. this is the newest trend, corroborating the MACD crossover. also, look up the parabolic SAR info, a lagging indicator used to confirm a change in trend. the SAR info, albeit lagging, has confirmed that AMD has just started an up trend
AMD exited $55 call. Should have just bought more late yesterday... 0.18 to 1.21 small junk/gamble contract. Now that I'm out it'll go to $60, haha. I'm considering more calls for a later date if I can find a good entry.
Bought near end of market yesterday, sold this morning roughly an hour after open. The date was 7/10 expiration so I didn't want to hold too long. I felt confident in a small play but didn't want to risk holding longer with no time left. So I put a tight stop loss on it.
On AMD and CRM are you looking at any new contracts further out? My AMD play I'd have shared but I wasn't the most sure on it and I got it at maybe 10min before close. I will sometimes try a high risk one like that if it seems chart looks like it might continue/reverse, like on this one I got in on the dip for the lower entry of 0.18, still risky but I figured it'd at least net me a + With that said AMD (now that I'm out) will probably test 60, hopefully you guys make a lot
based on my amateurish TA skills, on this earning run, using MU as the canary in the coal mine, awa the Jan earnings run as a reference, my estimate is that AMD will hit $63 before earnings release stmt day, last wk in Jul
