I guess some people do that in all walks of life, military or not. I personally didn't claim any disability after 20 years, but have never been one to try and milk the system. I mean I knew a guy who claimed some off having an ACL repaired that he tore playing sports outside of work, then went into a high paying job at Houston Center Air Traffic Control while collecting disability. I just personally find that wrong, but that's me. The funny thing is many Republicans think it's only Democrats milking the system, but it goes both ways.
130,000 Americans have died and many more will, largely due to trump's incompetence and now ignoring of the pandemic. America is still struggling with social unrest while trump fans the flames of unrest with racist support of confederate symbols. Unemployment is in double digits. And reports of Russian bounties on American soldiers suggest he at least ignored if not personally benefited from the deaths. And with all that going on... trump is focused on TV ratings. And golf, of course, always time for golf...
Again, with all of the important problems facing trump, he focuses on the divisive one that defends confederate statues. And its all empty bluster as usual... whatever laws being enforced have been always in place (destruction of public property)...
I don't disagree with you, but I also can't say I wouldn't take advantage of the money. So much of what garners disability ratings probably has little to do specifically because of service. The degree my body has broken down already amazes me. My knees, back, & hip all have issues. I don't think I'd have to lie about anything, but I'd be more open than I am with a regular doctor. I've become quite jaded by what I've seen and heard over the years. My experience is Republicans are the worst offenders when they come to milking the government. But it works for them since it allows them to point out how wasteful the government is, but absolutely don't cut off their golden goose, which is why they always want more military spending.
I don't recall his corresponding jobs subtracted tweet. [rhetorical]How he keeps referring to jobs that are restarting as "jobs added" is beyond me[/rhetorical]
trump is also ignoring this... and some may give trump a break for "making hay while the sun is shining", next month's report will punish his touting these numbers... The U.S. economy added 4.8 million jobs in June, but fierce new headwinds have emerged https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/07/02/june-2020-jobs-report/?arc404=true
I think about this. Imagine you have at you fingertips, every hour of the day, all of the ins/outs/permutations/salutations/whatevers, intel-wise, of the entire world. You can get a laser focused idea of what county X wants to do and how it affects countries Y&Z. Every single morning.... And you think it's boring so you don't read it? That takes a special kind of moron, with no business being President.
