Duh........ This stuff isn't complicated..... it is pretty close to exactly what the CDC has said. People in close quarters, for long periods of time..... without masks....... spreads the virus..... the CDC was looking at the credit card spending weeks ago. People need to wear masks..... the Republican politicians that told people not to wear masks and did not support a requirement should be ****ing ashamed and face the political consequences. People need to listen to the scientists that have study virology for decades. They ARE smarter than the common person and they ARE FAR more informed. When the CDC and experts say they are worried about Texas and Houston and other areas..... then people need to listening. There are no real shortcuts...... there are no negotiating with a virus. The politicians (in this came a majority of them being Republicans) need to get the hell out of the way and listen to the experts. The people need to listen and do BASIC **** like wash hands, wear a clean mask in public, respect social distancing.... avoid eating out and large crowds.
Those free testings that CVS and other drive through places provide take over 5 business days. Many individuals who don't have health insurance are going to urgent cares for rapid COVID test for $200. If you call your primary care physician, they might have the rapid tests from $50-$100 without insurance. Had to scramble to get tested after my friend tested positive who I helped move out of her apartment. Thankfully, my results came back negative.
