There should be all sorts of documentation that will prove or disprove this... Congress needs an investigation. And pence, esper, haspel at the very least need top testify (odd all of them have been quiet on this)...

    EASILY BAFFLED,

to the extent that neither of them have denied the existence of the Russian bounty, it corroborates the the reporting

My gosh... you are like a battered wife of trump's. But OK, lets take this apart... you say they all (WSJ, WaPo, NYT, and Sky News) use the others as their source? You seem confused when one paper recognizes another paper as being first with a story, like the competing Washington Post did:

But each of the other papers employs reporters and have reported on different aspects of the story at different times:

    Like here with Sky News:

    https://news.sky.com/story/trump-nobody-told-me-about-russia-bounties-to-attack-us-troops-12017190

And here with the Washington Post:

Russian bounties to Taliban-linked militants resulted in deaths of U.S. troops, according to intelligence assessments
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...ffaec2-b96a-11ea-80b9-40ece9a701dc_story.html

Perhaps a primer on journalism would be helpful to you?

Seems reasonable, considering the importance of this...

What I'm saying about Kurds and Saddam and and Syria is we have no reason to be in Syria . We have no interest there. The only time we "needed " Kurds was fighting Saddam way back when. The only reason to stay in Syria is to help Kurds or anti Assad forces

There is no American interest in any of those **** holes (I'm using that term in regards to war). Liberals whining about leaving there are just being Trump contrarian. Who cares about Russia and Syria?

Fracking has changed the world. The middle east is undtable because dictatators don't have unlimited oil funds.

The west and countries like China don't have to worry about their stupid ass 1500 year old clan feuds we will never understand or be able to fix

I agree. It is something that should be looked into and get all of the facts out into the open. It's kind of surprising that she's willing to do this if there's a chance that Trump has done nothing wrong. The real concern is what is the appropriate response if it's true. It's time to start an FBI investigation into the Biden election campaign, IMO. The precedent has been set, right? (kidding).

Looks like NYT and Wash Post got another Russia story wrong. Why people read that trash is beyond me.

That's a remarkably narrow way of looking at things. First off if fracking has changed everything why were US troops working with the Kurds redeployed to protect Syrian oil fields. You're defending Trump and trying to downplay the issue of Syria and middle eastern oil yet Trump himself thought it was important enough to continue to maintain a US military presence at oil fields.

The Middle East is very unstable but it also has several important US allies and adversaries present. Whether we should be allies or adversaries with those countries is a longer term question but a complete haphazard withdrawal with no clear reasoning or thought is not within our interest. That was the primary reason Mattis resigned. The message sent by the US abandonment of the Kurds is also a wider message that the US won't stand by allies. That makes it harder for the US to deal with other situations and raises the prospect that we will have to rely on our own soldiers than on allies on the ground.

None of this though still answers the main question. Why are you so interested in defending issues regarding Russia? You say "who cares about Russia" yet you seem to spend an inordinate amount of time defending or downplaying issues around Russia.

I'm not defending Trump if he was briefed and he didn't do anything. That being said THERE HAS NOT BEEN A CASUALTY IN AFGAHNISTAN SINCE THE SUPPOSED BRIEFING. That's a fact period. The Taliban is denying this. Our intelligence isn't infallible.

On Syria there has been nothing that suggests leaving was a bad decision whatever Mattis said
