Just wanted to say that they were both very respectable presidents.

George Bush (Jr.) seems like a really likeable fellow. Good person. Shouldn't have been vilified the way he was.

It was clear that they both have zero respect for Trump.

You can't have an ego maniac as a president

Well the blame will lay with the people that voted for him. I wanted the man to succeed for the good of our country but boy was I proven wrong. He's a dimwitted manchild and a danger to our country. Can't wait to vote for Biden in November.

On another note, I never knew how honest a man Jimmy Carter was until a few years ago. He's probably the most genuine president we've had in decades. God bless that man...

The reason why Trump won is because he's a TV / reality star / celebrity

This celebrity culture in America makes me question the intelligence level of the country as a whole regardless of political affiliation

The number 1 person girls look up as an idol is Kylie Jenner, the young have spoken with their wallets and clicks and likes
I know she might be a very nice person, but the reality is she was a rich girl who was very insecure about her looks cause her sister is better looking

this is played out on tv so millions can watch. she get's all types of plastic surgeries and fillers so she can look like a stripper for NBA players and Rappers. Which is the theme of the Kardasians to appeal to the young culture. She and her sisters screw so many NBA players and rappers that you can create their own nba team based on the sperm left on the bed.

then she launches her cosmetic lineup and it goes bananas. of course it does. She does all of this before she's 21.

How does this relate to Trump?

TV viewers and voters are the same. All the stuff he says and his conduct, how's that different from the Kardasians?
He's not a rags to riches story. He was already rich. Americans love their rich celebrities.

He wasn't a good businessman, his casinos are trash, that's why Nevada NEVER gave him a casino license cause he ran his casinos into the ground in Atlantic City. He only has a hotel in his name. He was really good at being a celebrity though. His show got tremendous rating.

Give Trump credit, he knows this. He knows America loves trash reality shows and worship their celebrities no matter what things they do.
I tell most of you about the trash on ESPN and Fox Sports. It's the same thing in politics too.

Hey on the other side, AOC, she's not smart either. Throwing away Amazon jobs so she can look like she's saving the community and culture?
LOL. But she's got the celebrity quality in her. And that's all she really needs for today. You really think she's done more for this country than Jeff Bezos?? HELL NO, a billion times over.

But this is today's world. fast news, dumb celebrities, overly sensitive ADD kids who stream and play video games at the same time.

I'm so happy we have a strong private sector, cause the public sector is trash

George W might be a more likable human than Trump but his administration probably started one of the largest blunders in American history with the multiple decade "war on terror".

The weird thing about Bush W is that his rhetoric on things like race and religion didn't mimic that of right wing pundits on Fox News. Bush W if I was to give him credit for one thing is that he was not divisive in his rhetoric. He made a sincere effort to make sure to tell the American people "we are not at war with Muslims". He didn't say edgelordy **** to rile up people and tried to be calming voice which is the complete opposite of Trump.

    @CometsWin

Think about this about how bad Trump was a casino operator.

When he built his hotel in Vegas, Nevada would NOT give him a gaming license to have a casino.

They would rather have Tillman Fertita as a casino operator. Word on the street is that he's cheap, but at least he knows how to run a casino, chain restaurants and a basketball team .

GWB was wrong about everything except he wanted Republicans to court Hispanics. Republicans followed him on everything except courting Hispanics.

Hispanics especially of Mexican descent are conservative. Bush was very smart about this. If the party didn't rely on the culture war they would lock power up.

    GWB's term is total irony.

W served in public office, which you can't say about Trump.
As I mentioned before, and I'm pretty sure of this. Trump won because he's a celebrity.
He wasn't a prototype Republican, he was a New Yorker.

If this country and society doesn't stop the celebrity worship, it's in for big trouble.

Bush was working on mass amnesty for undocumented workers and a legit pandemic plan. But between 9/11 and putting shitty people around him his legacy is trash.

My last job in corporate America was for a power supplier like NRG. We supplied his Atlantic City casinos.

Financially casinos were printing money in the late 90's early 2000s. Afterwards they started losing money. I can't tell you why but he bought in at the wrong time

To be fair, Trump has just lowered the bar sooooooooo much when it comes to what we expect from our President.

Bill Clinton had relations with an intern in the Whitehouse and lied to Congress and the American people about it. He had many more questionable affairs.

W started 2 seemingly endless wars and helped create the financial system that led to the 2008 Economic crisis. He is seemingly though a good person.

I've been to the Trump's casinos in Atlantic City. It was garbage, I'd rather be at Excalibur or Circus Circus.

Harry Reid: Trump Barred From Casino Business In Nevada Due To Sordid Record

In a Washington Post interview published Wednesday, Reid initially asserted that Nevada denied the Republican nominee a gaming license for the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. The hotel, unlike many major hotels in Las Vegas, does not offer gambling.

“I may not be an expert on a lot of stuff, but I’m an expert on gaming licenses,” Reid, a former chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission, told Post reporter Ben Terris. “You can’t have filed 14 bankruptcies, cheat people out of stuff. In gaming circles, if somebody does something bad once, you can’t get a gaming license. He’s done something bad his whole life.”

Celebrity worship is a huge problem. With Trump specifically I believe his fame with the show The Apprentice also gave the reality tv show audience(lowest common denominator audience basically) a false perception that Trump is a masterclass in business acumen. Even the show creators have publicly stated they regret creating that false perception to the public with that show.

I'm not arguing he did a good job but that's not really a criticism of his casinos as much as it's a criticism of him as a person
