Trump is self-destructing in front of the country and Biden is just stepping out of his way as he walks over the cliff. I mean all these faux scandals Trump is trying to manufacture while people are losing jobs and scared - does he really think people aren't going to catch-on? I know he thinks people are stupid, and a lot of them are yes, but there is a limit.
Let's be entirely clear. Trump is a syphilitic delirious wacko. To the extent any strategy or tactics are ascribed to him, they're purely reactive. It's always been this way. There's no eleven dimensional chess. There's no checkers. There's just Stimulus-response. That's it. It absurdly succeeded in ways it shouldn't have. But, that's life. Schrodinger's wave function allows for all kinds of low probability nonsense. He might think he's the puppet master. But he's a just a barely sentient sock with magic marker eyes.
Trump works best with a foil that's willing to engage with him...he's a troll. The best way to deal with trolls is to ignore them...which is what Biden's doing. Also, midterms are referendum's on the incumbent. There's no real reason for Biden to tarnish his current image when Trump is floundering so badly. Stay above the fray when possible and look like the better candidate all the way to the bank.

Actually, I am thinking both Biden and the Democratic party are playing it smart... let ex-Republicans like the Lincoln Project and Speaker Pelosi take the big shots at trump.
Biden needs to be elected come November. The biggest issue for the world going forward is that it needs to detach from China (unless it were to become a democracy). To do that, the US needs to lead. To lead it needs allies, and Trump has been a monumental mess on this front. I believe Biden will turn the US brand around. Hopefully we won't go bankrupt before that happens.
The scary part is I can't tell if those are paid actors or real people. Either way I'm laughing hard.
