I watched “The Wrong Missy” with David Spade and Lauren Lapkus. Maybe I’ve been in quarantine too long but I thought it was pretty funny. Lauren had me in stitches in parts. It just came out on Netflix. It was the kind of dumb rom-com I needed. 7.5 out of 10
Just watched this one and actually liked it. Thought it had a District 9 feel. The story does get convoluted but not to a David Lynch level of confusion. edit: forgot the rating 7/10
WHAAAAT? District 9 had a coherent story and some great visuals I had no idea what was going on here and it looked very low budget. David Lynch is purposely confusing this just did not make sense IMO. Anyway glad you liked it.
That name sounds familiar but don't remember watching it. I don't think Hereditary was that bizzare but the incident came out of nowhere and was actually shocking for them to go there.
Showgirls: On Starz, 7/10!!! I watched it with the mother of my kid and 3 burlesque dancers from her dance squad. It was everyone's first time watching it. It changed me. All these years, decades even, I thought I was a Kelly Kapowski guy. Turns out ...I wasn't. Was the acting terrible at times? No doubt. Where there some WTF is this moments? Definitely, we all turned and looked at each other when she was having sex in the pool and splashing like a mermaid. But it dared to go where no movie had gone, much respect. We were entertained. "It's a Versays dress." ha. Younger Gina Gershon...Dammmmn Gina.
Finally watched Joker last night......dam that was dark and not what I was expecting. The one thing I didn't quite understand was the last scene where he was talking to the therapist that let him go earlier in the movie 7/10
It's pretty simple. I don't think it deserved that kind of rating. I think we have gotten off on the wrong foot, but please do not continue to cherry pick my posts to insult me and be condescending. After all, just sharing my opinions. I watched Con Air last night. 5.5 at best.
Dude you were the one cussing and brought up a movie nobody was talking about. Don't start none won't be none.
