you're the broseph who is carrying water for an ignorant, addled malignant narcissist as president and his disastrous policies- maybe you want to look upward when you start calling out very stable geniuses.

Agreed, but you missed the part where you pointed fingers for this problem at liberal media and their apparent anti-Trump bias (I could argue that another time, but we'll leave it at that for now), and totally failed to mention the role that Right Wing Media has in people "thinking the entire thing is a sham." More than likely it will be them turning on FoxNews that will inform the whether or not its a sham... not going to a hospital and saying that its dead in here therefore its a sham.

In the event of a pandemic where you can see it coming like a freight train like we did with Italy especially, I think its a GOOD THING to have overreaction and over preparedness, rather than the alternative which is conspiracy theory driven misinformation that counteracts public health and safety for the sake of profits for billionaires.

We should be applauding Houston and Dallas officials for setting up overflow hospital centers on the fly that weren't needed. And yes we should give Trump credit where it was due for doing some things right like ordering the floating hospital to NYC. However we also need to be able to criticize some VERY VERY big mistakes in the run up to the virus hitting the NY, and Washington. He did some very very stupid things that he should pay the price for because Covid won't be the last pandemic that hits us, and we need better preparedness so the US doesn't again have the issues that you are complaining about when it's left to both sides of the media to have free reign to cover and inform the public in the ways that they do.

You talk about Narcissistic personality disorder but I feel like you don't even know the diagnostic criteria. I'll help you out:

    https://personalitydisorders-narcissistic.weebly.com/dsm-5-criteria---revised-june-2011.html

Before calling others narcissistic, please consider the option of taking a look in the mirror when you wake up, "stable genius."

Again, I'm not going to sit here and defend trump. I'm glad to have you think what you want...ignorant or otherwise. But please continue to defend the liberal media and their actions during this pandemic. It provides me with much needed laughter during this time.

One more thing...the actions of Texas were not taken bc CNN, CBS, ABC, and MSNBC decided to go overboard with their coverage in a fear mongering tirade. There is a reason news started having segments called "facts not fear." Should that not be the case all the time?

I'm perfectly fine if we just agree to disagree. If we continue along this ride you are going to call me a few names, I'm going to snap back, nothing will be accomplished, and you will lose out on valuable time to actually contribute to the community. Have a nice day ma'am.

I would try to get a job but in case you hadn't checked - since you don't read the media - the employment situation is a ****ing catastrophe.

This is in part because a few years ago, you and your idiot buddies decided to pull the lever for a guy who would "really shake things up" and "tell it like it is!"

I guess you were half right! ;)

2016 - "I'm voting for Trump because he says what he means"

2017-2020 - (when explaining something ridiculous Trump said) "That's not what he meant"

I would stick to actual medical diagnostic criteria books that real doctors use for personality disorders... I'm sure Trump does have that, but so do you "stable genius."

I'm sorry if you lost your job. That's unfortunate and I don't wish that on anyone. I was just throwing a shot in the dark based on your large post history... seriously my bad.

I think we should table this. I'm not unreasonable... I think we both made our points. I'm tired of insults, and I have some anger history in my family and in my past. I'm trying to utilize meditation, yoga, and therapy to help me deal with those internal issues. Thank you for the wake up call of me falling down that hole again.

Thank you for your account and I think this is a fair post. I know some other posters have jumped down your throat. I might step on your lips but won't jump down your throat.

First off I agree the media has sensationalized this. Brace yourself, the media sensationalizes things. Given the numbers that we know of especially out of NYC I don't think the extent of the crisis has been exaggerated by the media. This isn't the end of World but certainly this is a very severe crisis. We don't lose lose more than 80K people in less than two months and it not be a severe crisis. Regarding what Trump has done I am on the record as a never Trumper that said I have given him credit where I think it's due, such as in helping overcome GOP opposition to the CARES Bill and signing it rapidly. I don't blame him for this virus and I don't blame him that much for what happened in January and early February. What I will absolutely blame him for is the chaotic response out of the Federal government, the conflicting information we get including pushing unverified cures, and most of all for his inability to take responsibility and instead blame others. That is the opposite of leadership. This to me is the most damning thing about Trump. Yes the media doesn't treat him nicely. He is the President of the United States he's going to be under a microscope and get criticized. If he can't handle that then he shouldn't be president.

Regarding your own story. I have no reason to doubt it but there are a few things you might consider. One reason why many hospitals are empty is because certain hospitals have been designated specifically as COVID-19 treatment centers. Since you went to the ER for a non-COVID condition it would make sense that you wouldn't see COVID patients. If you had tested positive you might've had a different experience. The other issue is that many states have stopped non-elective procedures which are the most profitable part of medicine. Without a lot of those procedures a lot of hospitals don't have much business. Also non-COVID treatment centers have had much of their resources relocated to COVID treatment centers so they have to cut back.

D&D is serious business, did you get lost?

Seriously if you are gonna be thin skinned you should not post in here, I think what you posted is reasonable I don't really agree with you playing Trump as victim but its your right.

You chose to post your truth and others responded with there's, no need to go to the get a life blast, it's not becoming.

    Yup.
When all that streaming rockets stuff was going on i was in a suddenlink area and couldn't get rockets.

@ItsMyFault was kind enough to offer stream from his living room and I wanted to try to convince him to make some loot in the process.

My idea was to make a website about mesothelioma awareness and rockets.
So basically something like mesothelioma rockets dot com or rocketsmesothelioma dot net along those lines and then from there we get ad words / ad sense etc to trigger the ads to show mesothelioma ads and then encourage rockets fans to get a passcode for stream triggered by clicking the ad.
They would get their rockets stream and we can also get the awareness up on mesothelioma and that sweet $40 per click. In fact me spreading this awareness right now is worth at least a buck fiddy.

Getting every game with 300 plus streaming even with even

200 clicks × $40 × 82 games we are talking $656,000 for the nba season.

Sadly its my fault didnt want to go to jail and be his fault so he respectfully declined.

I still feel there is an opportunity to cobrand mesothelioma and similar high price words with other hobbies or sites.

Anyone interested give me a shout

Fair post and I agree with most if not all of your points. Again...my comment was not to be used as a manifesto, it was simply commentary on the matter.

Yes I know some hospitals are completely overrun. Some are not, and some are a ghost town... I guess experiencing it first hand after all the rhetoric opened my eyes a bit and made me question, for better or worse.

As far as my own story. I didn't take an ambulance and wasn't rushed to a "non-covid" hospital as far as I know. I went to the closest one, which was Memorial Hermann. I highly doubt they don't take COVID-19 cases especially since the entire ER including my room was outfitted specifically for that. But again, one human, one instance, one hospital, one time... take with a box of salt if you must.
