I appreciate it, you know have these idiots on the board don't know who those dudes are
    and
they have no idea what medium that is

No Fortnite NBA 2K playing Uzi Vert kids know what that is

They think cards are those digital things that you get in NBA2K player packs

80% of Clutchfans have no idea what Fleer or Donruss or Topps are

    Exactly,

It's like if I kicked your dog cause I was mad at it 20 years ago, then 20 years later I felt bad about it and told you, you'd forgive me.
But nothing happened to that dog, I didn't kick off the roof and it died.
actually the dog got better at jumping and won some dog frisbie contests.

I don't really understand how some of these fans here don't understand anything

    Maxwell had a temper

They didn't call him Mad Max cause of the Mel GIbson movie about the end of the world and people driving around looking for gas

Like what exactly do they think he was ? A yoga instructor?

    He was gangster
He said on the documentary 'at the time' he didn't think first than react

he lost his starting job, which any of these newb fans here would be mad if they lost their starting job at Baskin Robins
    @Jontro @mikol13
    This is Mad Max

I just think your efforts would be better served as a unite-er rather than a divider...

Lose the whole 99er thing as any sort of barometer of fandom... if 99ers want to rejoice in the fact that they were on the website from the beginning - cool... but thats all it is - a join date on a website...

Educate the young-uns without being condescending, attackative and dismissive....

Calling people that dont meet your standards of fandom 'diseased rodents' or whatever else is just unnecessary... and will turn off many from being receptive to your message...

You probably do the most posting on this site... and as thus have a real impact on the 'vibe of the community'... my challenge to you is to make that vibe one of inclusiveness under the shared love of our team - regardless of differing views and opinions - and regardless of join date.

    :)

no... you love those you deem to be real Rockets fans...

    WWHD? What would Hakeem do?

    WWRD? What would Rudy do?

If somebody proclaimed themself to be a Rox fan... would Rudy or Hakeem give them a litmus test and quiz them to see if they 'qualified' as a fan in their estimation? Would they chide some young fan who wasnt that versed in the history? Would they question when they joined/became a fan to decide if they were deserved? Would they declare them unworthy and call them a rodent?

...or would they simply give 'em a high five and rejoice in their common love for Rox basketball?

Don't ever put the names of Scottie Pippen and Vernon Maxwell in the same sentence on a Rockets fans site.

you must not be reading some of the stuff people are posting here
it's not being naive to rockets history
it's clearly not from a rockets fan point of view
    i mean clearly trolling

Does this sound like someone who LOVES THE HOUSTON ROCKETS?

I don't remember 99ers dissing on people who are Texans. Especially because the Houston Rockets are in the great state of Texas..

I guess we have different standards on who are HOUSTON ROCKETS FANS

So long as you can differentiate between trolls and long time fans that are fed up with watching us squander opportunities... and want to hold guys accountable.

and we all know Tilman is a loudmouth blowhard... and really, I love Morey but he talks too much on occasion as well...

and you dont remember 99ers dissing on people who are Texans? LMAO... Spurs and Mavs are Texas teams too... and they get plenty of abuse - and deservedly so... ;)

The Bulls never found success without Pippen; where the Rockets did with a home town hero. I think that is the biggest difference.

Pippen went further than Jordan after Jordan second retirement.

    Pippen and Portland in 2000!

Pippen was third in points in Portland.

these dudes here are real rockets fans

i don't have to deem them anything, when they drop posts , it's like Hakeem dropping a baseline fadeaway on the Knicks in the Finals

    I hate Pippen

Only newbs pull up his name on a Rockets board

Pippen single handled derailed the Rockets for years, we gave up so much to sign him at the max then we had to trade him for peanuts cause he wanted to leave like a coward

that ACTUALLY SET THE FRANCHISE BACK not Kenny Smith or Barkley saying we aren't winning the title on TNT each night

Pippen basically did his 97-98 Bulls act in Houston and succeeded.
