Think about it, Pippen actually was threatening to sit out the season and only wanted to be traded, demanding publicly and not giving a **** about the team. Yet, Chicago and its fans embrace Pippen with an unconditional love that is unquestionable. Compare that to Max, who was made out to be a villain even with only one public interview after his exit where he only said they didn’t need him anyway. Now it’s all love again, though fans on here are quite divided still. Get over it if you still hate Max!
as usual... its always gotta be about 1 extreme or the other... You either gotta 'love' something and embrace every nuance of its existence - or ur a hater - and no middle ground is tolerated... Max will always hold a place in my heart for what he provided to the org... but his various antics which culminated in him walking away like a spoiled child and leaving us short handed at a most crucial juncture is not something to just be ignored... really, his actions could have cost us that 2nd championship if others hadnt stepped up... Its like all those people that celebrated Hardens offensive accomplishments - and buried their heads in the sand regarding his lack of defensive effort for seasons past... or those that focused on his defensive shortcomings and wouldnt give him props for his offensive mastery... idk why people have to hold up athletes as either the second coming - or dismiss them as worthless scrubs... The world just becomes more and more divisive everyday... bc everybody has an opinion (usually based on limited knowledge) and nobody wants to acknowledge that any opposing viewpoint has validity... Meanwhile, we get inundated with Tinman posts - where he will happily tell you if you are a real fan or not... smh...
They are idiots usually if you don’t admit guilt then you don’t get forgiven Maxwell told our creator @Clutch That he was sorry about it And @Clutch represents The real Rockets fans He’s also mentioned this on the documentary the only people that really matter are His teammates His coaches Himself And @Clutch I hold his opinion and knowledge of the Rockets higher than any of you lower tier members
99ers were never divided on clutch city In fact we will always represent and respect it Clutch City caused the inception event to create this entire board And it started when Maxwell dropped the three on Starks at the summit to ice the first championship @Rocket River @Ziggy @rimrocker
Dude, seriously... what is your major malfunction? You seem to have this need to build yourself up due some arbitrary join date on this website... You are not the anointed spokesperson for every person that joined this website in 99... DD joined in 99 and he's not in lockstep with your every assertion... I dont believe that bc somebody joined a website earlier than someone else doesnt necessarily mean they have any greater level of loyalty, knowledge or love... just 'keeping it real'... ;)
Haha it’s sad and funny at the same time, the constant tagging of other “friends” or 99ers and Clutch is the worst...Well put!
DD is my brother, I know in his heart he forgives Max. It's not about joining in 99 I can't explain how it was to know that everyone here was a real Rockets fan And that we're still here trusting our brothers @Rocket River
I think you need to go back and re-read threads from 99 - there was plenty of dissension and even some trolls... Plus if you go back and read those threads you probably will notice that 75% of those 'fans' are no longer on this website - i guess they werent 'real fans' after all - despite when they joined this site... lol
1 99er = 100K non 99ers @Rocket River @Ziggy There are few of us left but we still outnumber everyone in being Real Rockets fans
I love latter day MM. I liked MM a lot in the day. But there was a day that made me not like MM.* *tho it certainly ended grrrreat! in June!
Here's an easy way to figure out if you are in good graces with the organization The organization lets your represent them the nba honors you the city of HOUSTON loves you If you don't know these dudes next to Max, you are not a houstonian
