Good lord. This is exhibit A. why there is such a robust media strategy to play the blame game. The fact are freaking terrible here. They know that.
So WHO not directly criticizing China = echoing State news from China? When Trump praises China response, was he echoing State news from China? You might not know this, but WHO isn't a political body. The most critical they have been is 'please test test test'. WHO has it's problem, but they aren't China's propaganda mouthpiece.

We would have seen many more cases outside China by now – and probably deaths – if it were not for the government’s efforts, and the progress they have made to protect their own people and the people of the world. The speed with which China detected the outbreak, isolated the virus, sequenced the genome and shared it with WHO and the world are very impressive, and beyond words. So is China’s commitment to transparency and to supporting other countries.
The World Health Organization is doing beneficial deeds in fighting this pandemic. They are doing it in promoting health in other areas as well. They were fooled and perhaps foolish in believing and trusting the Chinese. That was wrong, but it wasn't a conscious effort to deceive people on their end like it was from the Chinese. The WHO got scammed. But in general it has never been the policy of the United States to punish the victim.
I just read the last 2 pages. AN NO ONE HAS MENTIONED... that on the stimulus checks being sent out that printed and mailed Trump's name is printed on the memo line. Apparently causing delays by several days for those to be sent. What an absolute fuc*ing clown. He really should be embarrassed of himself.
It's mentioned in the stimulus thread. We know it's shitshow but what can we do except go out and vote in November?
As was Trump. And China did take extraordinary measures to contain the outbreak in late January, far beyond what the US did.

Their type of government allows them to take greater measures than we can. Would you prefer a stricter lockdown that our current guidelines?
True and yet Trump made no response at all for months and didn't do any of what our system of government allows. Instead, he told lies about it.
