You are overthinking it. This is like trump saying the hurricane would hit alabama and now you got guys like rush limbaugh trying to make it right. It was a slip and I too was excited to read about it when it came out. Trump will say anything and that is what he did. Now we have to try to make it true. I hope it works and they do too since they have all latched on to it. Its weird how they try to make him right on something..same way they try to blame the states. Thankfully trump put the sharpie down and backed off april 12. Up next is push to go back by end of april when numbers show the peak is around may 6 for texas. The safe thing would be return sometime in 2nd half of june but by the sounds of it these republican super spreaders cant handle this time out for a second longer. The second death toll starts to drop you will hear the push to go back and it reallly at absolute earliest should be beginning of june and watch we wont even make it to may the super spreaders will be trying to sneeze it out on you. Think about it we have barely gone 2 weeks you think these super spreader republicans will be able to handle another 6-8 weeks? No way man! Btw do you have your immunity passport? Poor will be discriminated against by being forced to either get covid or sit out of their job due to preference going to those with covid immunity passport. Thats why there should be a stated set date and it should be announced soon and that be the date and in meantime all stay the f in.. I would say june 22 but to appease all the agitated super spreaders here I suppose as early as june 10 or so. Watch it will be way dumbass earlier. Dont take my dates as anything look for yourself: covid19.healthdata.org/projections Or we can ask jared
I think the main point is that Lupus sufferers taking that treatment were coming down with Covid-19. trump said no Lupus sufferers treated caught Coronavirus.
same way he got stuck on Alabama to the point he sharpied a map. The weirder part is guys like rush limbaugh all on it. Its a strange horse theyve all tied themselves to. I hope it works out ..it feels weird thats for sure. Im all for trying drugs i just wish the republican covidiot super spreaders would stay home and stfu
Problem with Trump is this - he is allowed to screw up and be corrupt and do whatever he wants because if you criticize him, it's "WHA WHA WHAAAA - WHY ARE THE DEMS SO MEAN TO HIM?" It's like a bad parent who enables a child by constantly making excuses for him every time he misbehaves.
Incubation can last up to 4 weeks, but most people see nasty symptoms before 2 weeks. The hidden nature of this virus makes me think 40-60% will get it (or a vaccine) before anything gets under control. From the math we know so far (that changes across borders), 20% infected will get noticeable symptoms and 1-3% will die from it. What the infected numbers assume is that it's all spread over evenly like pb on a piece of bread. They're more like uneven chunks of cheese. Those living outside the uneven chunks in white bread territory will see nothing. Hear everything. Walk into relatively chill hospitals, and start questioning other people's sanity and overreactions. For now. It's a nasty ****er when considering risk and economic impacts, let alone when to call everyone back to normal. If we want to treat the novel nature of the virus as "an everyday thing like the chicken pox," we should start making healthcare education free upon satisfactory completion. Not only for the next few years of strain on our healthcare system, but also for the boomers who will need it more with every coming year. The way we run people into a meat grinder called razor thin profits, probably means there will be a lot of hospital workers either dead/exhausted/looking for new career changes. It will likely be correlated to the proportion of people out there who doesn't gaf about their own responsibilities and offload it to unseen individuals who "chose that line of work".
My guess is that he's playing the bait and switch game again. He's getting the media to talk about the magic cure, so that they spend less time presenting the outright negative news of rising number of cases, the operational problems, the overall lack of testing or strategy, his son-in-law's role in all this. etc. He knows it's to his advantage to give people false hope, or even be criticized for giving this false hope, that have people dissect and learn about the actual job his government has been doing. I would think the media would be all over the medical stockpiles issue, trying to illuminate how federal agencies are snatching orders from local governments, without transparency as to how these masks are going to be used. But while there are a few news stories about that, the majority of the media cycle is about explaining this unproven drug that may or may not work and how Trump may or may not take it. It's classic bait and switch by a president who is obsessed with controlling the media narrative. And the press (and maybe most of the public) seems to fall for it over and over and over again.
I just love how a lot of the tweets that are talking about hydroxychloroquine are tagged with this photo... Pretty slick feature they got going on there that they should use a lot more with all the misinformation that's been going around.
