There seems to be 2 conversations on this thread... 1) politics and 2) the mob. And they are somehow unrelated...
The season is canceled and the owner who is a Trump fan may have to sell the the team because of his very Trumpy leveraged business of hotels, restaurants and casinos. Also, the season being canceled was actually the first sign of the American establishment, including the Presidency, actually taking the crisis seriously. But anyway, feel free to strt a thread about the 90's.
Who’s his comp? He’s got the unlikability and idiocy of a James Dolan but is too cheap. He’s cheap like Donald Sterling but even I can’t quite compare him to that monster. We going with Sarver as the comp?
The video game company behind Elder Scroll??? Who's buying them?? Better not be Tilman! Ruin a great game company
Tip jar bet that if Tillman sells in the next 12 months he makes a profit. $100? Clutch we get a new title for this. Deal?
you're literally a walking billboard for trumpian propaganda. every word you say, every single one, is scripted by the WH, channeled to R leadership and Fox News, and parroted by you and other MAGA "conservatives". it's a total rewrite of current history - there are articles, posts, reports, testimony, and tweets that can refute practically every word you say but you choose - again, YOU CHOOSE - to only believe the narrative given to you by the very person who cares about nothing more than protecting his image, financial interests of he and his family, and power. i mean stop and think about it - we're now entering perhaps the largest single disaster anyone alive has seen and you're defending the guy who as recently as a month ago said "we have it under control," openly admitted to taking "no responsibility" for the country's response (the country HE LEADS), tweets about his "ratings" being similar to the season finale of the bachelor, tasks his son-in-law who has ZERO RELEVANT EXPERIENCE to run some shadow corona task force, spend time during actual pandemic briefings to discuss his popularity on facebook (?!?!?), respond to a reporter's question about what he (POTUS) would say to frightened Americans - "I'd say you're a terrible reporter", and invite the MY PILLOW GUY to another pandemic briefing to ask us to pray harder and bring god back. All while we are witnessing a complete implosion of the economy and cases and deaths exploding. for the party of "personal accountability" y'all sure like to pass the buck as often and as frivolously as possible when its politically convenient.
This dude trump has dropped our respect from numerous countries. He has done nothing even close to strengthening our economy it’s the lowest it’s ever been since the Great Depression.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_State_of_Galveston Learning about organized crime in Galveston last century. Never knew. Very interesting. Any good book or documentary about it?
That would depend on how fast the economy recover and if this virus gets under control. Unfortunately, the Leadership in this country did not take this virus seriously when other Asia Countries started unlock down in January and ordered Medical supplies in January and February, from the USA! We were told in middle of February that we have this under control and close to zero cases soon. No need to worry. So, I would bet NO. Because everyone's net worth has gone down. There's no place to hide for the rich. Even NYC condo's are going to start a blood bath soon. Les is smart, Tried to sell his $40 million condo in 2017...not sure if it sold LA Film and p*rn Industry on hold. I think. Not sure if p*rn industry and the Sugar Daddy industry has shut down yet. If it's oil, where most Texans made money...you know that story. Even Mob money like Tilman is down since people can't pay back "Creative Financing" and now forced to pay back in organs.
Jeff Bezos can buy the team with change in his pocket, then move the team to Seattle and call it the SuperSonics I know that's what 90% of these fake non Houston loving fans want
it's interesting that someone of you have troll nicknames, i always suspect you were some other account that got axed and came back
Tillman isn't going to be able to sell low as he would then have debt with no asset - essentially he is underwater right now. I don't think the NBA would allow a sale to someone who would move the team - it's not a good look for a city to lose a team to another city because of a global pandemic. More likely the NBA would have to own the team ala the Clippers until things recovered and they could find an owner.
I would consider that, so by profit you mean he sells the team for more than $2.2B? Or do you include all the costs associated with the sale and things like interest on debt? Before the crisis, the team was valued at $2.4B.
