I'm glad your sister is doing better, what. But I'm really sorry to hear about your mom and nephew. Hopefully they'll get over it quickly and come away with immunity to this crap.

My sister is going on day 4 with a virus. She says she seems to be feeling better.
My mom and my nephew are on day 2 and my moms oxygen level is up to 94 to 96 most of the time, which is great and for at least right now she's not in any pain whatsoever no respiratory breathing issues or nothing.
From what I've read the worst of it comes within 5 days, so I'm hoping that they got a small dose of it and not the full worst of it.
It would be wonderful that happened and then they could be immune to it.

You are experiencing what we all dread, a loved one getting the virus. It sounds like you've been doing all you can. The frustration must be killing you. Stay strong and good luck.

The longest week of my life.
I am counting days and worried constantly. Every day feels like a victory to be honest, but then I'm filled with dread about what's going to happen tomorrow.
The news don't help to be honest. The worst part is not knowing how it will end.

My sister is starting her fifth day now, and she is having no problems just really weak. Last night she felt like she couldn't catch her breath but this morning is so much better she says. I think this is an absolute miracle and for it being the fifth day and not having that many symptoms that is great.
Her and my mom and her son have all been social distancing from each other, and my mom currently says she feels better than she felt yesterday but she's only on her third day.
And Kaleb, my nephew with Noonan syndrome he shows really no symptoms except a fever and his fever has went down today.
Currently my sisters main problem is that I bought her the wrong 5-hour energy. I don't know if you know but trying to buy something for somebody else when you're not familiar with the product you're most likely going to get it wrong. Oh well.

Michigan and Austin but they were together early March. Long story short, my sister in Michigan is a flight attendant and she was notified of exposure on one of her flights AFTER she returned from a hiking trip with our other sister who is from Austin and our parents in Big Bend area. It was too late by then and it's one of the reason I think that non-emergency air travel should be banned for at least 2 weeks. It's extreme but it should have been done already imo.

What and Ipaman sorry to hear about your sisters and hope they recover.

    Hopefully you won't.
The virus is terrible, hopefully we will get a vaccine soon.

I suspect we will not get a vaccine. I think this will be like influenza (which we have no vaccine for). Many people will contract it. Most will recover. Some will die.

Why do you say there is no vaccine for the flu?

There's a yearly flu shot based on what we see in Australia, where the yearly mutation emerges earliest.

So far, Coronavirus isn't showing to mutate like the Flu does.
