Harden has had the least help of any modern superstar today outside of Giannis(actually that may not be true these last two years).
Not really. Garnet is an nba champion and he consistently lead his teams to 50 wins and playoff births. He got obliterated on the playoff, his teams weren't good enough, but the only year he got something ( Sam cassel and sprewell) he advanced. After he moved to Boston, he found a team and he won. AD may do the same in La, but he never showed what garnet showed us in minny. To me Garnet is leagues ahead of AD, and most likely will still be when all is said and done on ADs carrer.
Field Goal Attempts per game while on Houston McGrady : 19.7 Harden : 19.6 Pace be damned, Tracy got his shots up.
Its not fair to say those things about our role players as they have done a good job. Also, Harden had guys like Chris Paul (HOF candidate and an all star this year) and now Russ who was an MVP playing lights out. Like I said before, Harden doesn't make his team mates play better. Players like Chris Paul are the glue to the team. Look at how well Thunder are playing now with him now. He has had the right coach and the right team mates. On him to make it work now
Mcgrady after going up 3-1 on the pistons:it feels good to be in the second then proceed to lose 3 straight games and got bounced out in the first round yet again. Epic choke job
He brought it and revolutionized it(Sarunas originally introduced it to the nba) but he honestly didn't use it anywhere near as much as Harden does, and even back then, just do google searches and you'll find tons of articles questioning it's legality. They're part of his highlight package because it was so unorthodox but overall Harden uses it much more. Ginobili was just all around a fun out of control looking guy attacking the basket.
So you were saying that a lot of articles questioning its legality, and yet still legal to use until now? Maybe because it’s a legal move so it will forever be legal no matter who uses it.
so because harden has perfected the move and is so much more effective with it you whine about it. LOL
No doubt about that. Garnett was an Alpha player and was the leader of the NBA Celtics champions. AD is more like Pau Gasol.
Yeah, maybe a more talented Pau Gasol, or way better Chris Bosh is a good example. Guys that will put the numbers, but their team went nowhere. After they joined players that where more set as winners, then they turn into their true potential. Gasol as a legit n2 and sometimes even more important than Kobe for those 2 time champs lakers, and Bosh as the 3rd guy, behind lebron and Wade, playing D, stretching the floor and doing the small things to win. I fell AD will learn from lebron and grow into a much better player.
Manu had a waaaaaaaaaaaaay lower usage rate than harden has had in the last 6 or 7 years, so of course he used it a lot less. But he was the one that popularize it( he certainly didn't invent it) , and from him, D wade was the next superstar to use it a lot, and now James. I think manu had better agility than both of them, so his change of directions was better , but harden is like 278 times stronger, and wade was like 124 times more athletic than manu, so each of them have use it in a different way, more accordingly with their own strengths .
Bummer that the season has probably ended like this. AD is a better version of Pau Gasol, scoring wise, and in other stats as steals and blocks. A better defensive presence. He might not be the best player, or among the Top 3 but he is still much better than Pau Gasoft. I reckon Gasol did help KB immensely to win those 2 ships though. So did Andrew Bynum for a period.
See. The pattern continues. LeBron fans devalue his superstar teammates. Now AD is Pau Gasol or Chris Bosh.
