Looking forward to the McClain fluff piece and all the feel good news about johnson being a "tough football player" and "good teammate" and how they "do whats best relative to the team"
Hopkins wasn't just a high-priced WR, though. He was the Tim Duncan / Kawhi Leonard of WRs. Efficient, low-maintenance, not a diva, always showed up, fundamentally sound, etc. And the chemistry that he developed with Watson? All that = gone.
Welp congrats to Kyler Murray i guess. Arizona should be celebrating today. D Hop should run wild in that offense. I'm with the posters who are done with the Texans until a complete regime change takes place. Its just not worth it.
He'll get a ton of money wherever he ends up. I don't think DW4 is only about the money, so I'm sure he's going to get out asap.
WUT DA FOOOOOOOOKKK Asshchin does it again. Trading our best receiver when we don't have good WR depth. Classic O'B.
It’s not about being a Diva. Just look at the last couple years. Cardinals went to super bowl then paid Larry a Fitzgerald and lost to many other players never got back and now suck. Same with the Falcons after they paid Julio. Name the last highly paid receiver to actually wins Super Bowl. Good quarterbacks can throw to anyone, it’s not the end of the world.
How is hop not a dicd? He's been pushing for that extension with 3 years left. He's b****ed about ownership a bunch of tinti. He would have sat out without the extension for sure.
Hopkins gets to play with a QB with a similar skillset as Watson, and he also gets to learn from Fitzgerald. And, perhaps most important, he gets to be coached by Kingsbury and not BoB.
You would turn down 33+ million a year? That's stupid and anyone that advises him to do so should have their balls sprayed with icy hot
