They let Mayor Pete on to declare himself the winner with zero percent reporting. The establishment both media and political including Obama, the DNC etc is making it hard for undisciplined progressives to vote for Biden, the Chosen One.

Must not risk having Bernie even if it risks Trump's reelection.

I have to say that I agree with @glynch here. I think the DNC is out of its mind to think that Dentures McShaky is a superior general election candidate to Bernie. You're going all in on a guy who can't finish a sentence and was already gaffe-prone BEFORE his mental faculties started to leave him? To run against TRUMP? Bold strategy, Cotton, let's see if it pays off!

    GOOD DAY

let him on? He booked a speech and they covered it. The networks carry the post primary speeches of all of the major candidates. Was Bernie denied the right to have a rally on Super Tuesday to celebrate losing the election but winning California?

Face facts, man, the guy is in very steep mental decline. Just look at him speak - it's a disaster. Ask yourself, "Why did Biden not take a cognitive test?" I know why.

This may be cynical, but is Bernie hoping now that his worst voting demographic will stay home so he can win upcoming primaries?

Not that i would vote for him, but I'm guessing that Biden knows that people die from the flu and that Ireland is not part of the UK.

Lol doubt it. Young people will avoid voting too, being on social media all day reading about it will scare many.

I think Bernie's staying in right now due to

    A. Respect to his supporters
    B. He's going to try to leverage his drop out/endorsement for Biden to adopt some of his policies. It's what he did with Hillary, and I believe he's going to do it again.

Why is Trump and his Trumpettes so afraid of Biden?

Please don't say you're not afraid of Biden, because if you were not you wouldn't be trying to find dirt and smear him like you have...

I know why you want Bernie, because going against a socialist gives Trump his jihad...

with Clinton he was actively working super delegates to switch their vote to try to broker the convention. He didn’t back out until it became clear that wouldn’t happen. It was only 2 weeks before the convention when he finally gave up.

This is it right here is your answer. Burisma and Hunter Bidens the best they've got and that doesnt make a compelling Jihad.

Biden's lukewarm milquetoast record cuts both ways. He is like a pastel beige room. Nobody swoons over a pastel beige room. But nobody gets enraged at a pastel beige room, either. And Trump's go-to move is to generate outrage.

Bernie would have been lucky to get the superdelegates to represent him proportionately to the actual voting %'s. Hillary was also under investigation. There were a few things at play. Ultimately, I think he was just using leverage to get her to adopt some of his policies, which he did, and I support that action.

You should go back and refresh your memory about what was happening.

First, even if the super delegates had supported him "proportionately" he would have lost. He was blown out.

Secondly, while he got a modest concession on college tuition, the reason he stayed in it until the end was his refusal to give up, his bitterness and his last ditch effort to sway super delegates. He endorsed her two weeks before the election in an extremely bitter "unity" moment and despite his speeches about support it was clear to everyone that he was not accepting of the outcome.

If he does that crap again it will be a stain on his legacy.

Yes you read Bernie's mind and assume it's bitterness rather than trying to push Hillary to the left on some policies.

    How do you do it?

    "It was clear to everyone"

    "Bitter unity"

Did you analyze his diction in his rallies where he endorsed her or something?

Or maybe you just have natural inclination to assume the worst in people you ideologically disagree with.

To me "bitter unity" sounds like when a person says "no one likes him".

The two party system has turned most political junkies like us in to "fans" equivalent of sports competition. It leads to significanltly less criticism of the politicans "on my side".

The two party system has turned the paradigm of politics into a simple dichotomy of "good vs evil". Therefore it's difficult to accept that your party leaders are self serving and not altruistic or in this case ignore significant flaws in your fandom of a politican

My memory is fine. I'm happy that he fought for concessions, I don't think tuition-free college, 15 min wage, public option are entirely modest adaptions though. I think the play on getting the delegate was also just him trying to bargain with Hillary, and there's nothing wrong with him demanding his fair share of delegates, regardless if he's getting blown out or not. Superdelegates going to Hillary at dispositional rates in states Bernie won isn't democratic and was a huge slap in the face to the American voters.

I like your concern trolling over his legacy, let's be honest, you don't give a **** about the man's legacy. That's fine, neither does he, neither do I, I care about the progressive movement, was happy when he leveraged his support for progressive adoptions the last election, and hope he does so again this election.

Exactly. People don't understand that people who support Bernie don't worship the man himself. I couldn't care less about what his legacy is. I just care about shifting paradigm on how Americans view wealth inequality and the fundamental flaws in our economic system.

In fact I really hope the next leader of the proggesive movement is significanltly more young and charismatic. Those were severe flaws with Bernie.

His leveraging against Hilary Clinton didn't get adoption of progressive policies, it got nothing. So good, root for that outcome again.
