ClutchFans Game Thread: Clippers @ Rockets 3/5/2020

Think I would take that bet right now ... He’s been pretty average since Jan began, with the exception of a few outlier games hes looked slow, been sloppy with his handles, his floater has disappeared without Clint, his drives to the bucket are just as likely to net a block as a basket, but hey his defense has been ok ...

We are seeing the very worst of this team as an offensive team ( if they don’t make 3s they get blown out against teams that can and do shoot well) and defensively we are getting destroyed inside and outside it’s pretty embarrassing and should tell everyone exactly what to expect in the playoffs. This roster isn’t nearly good enough, and small ball is only going to work effectively against a team with a true C that isn’t that great of an offensive threat.

Counting on a team of average 3 point shooters to shoot you into games was never a great formula for wining Ship. Small ball was fun when we were shooting decently and playing active defense we aren’t doing anything remotely close to that and are getting embarrassed as a result

 

The truth is that it did happen, and it happened many times already, otherwise we would have a couple of rings now under JH.
Just admit it, we live by three, and die by three.

 

I've just lost respect for him. He continually let's us all down. All I asked for was one freakin year. One year he would just go all off and just earn it. Be a winner for once. He stay losing when it matters.

This team is a disaster. Clippers do small ball right. We are midget ball disaster.

 

nice well thought out analytical post....i'd rather hear this than all the haters **** on our team. tired of it. who knows? maybe harden is injured...the haters weren't saying this when harden whooped them in game 1.

 

of course westbrook keeps attacking.

 

Westbrook is amazing!

 

Howard, Paul, Westbrook...no matter how the team changes it’s basically the same. If they are hitting their 3s they win if they don’t they lose.

 

Clippers are hunting miss-matches, they'll make Green and Mclemore unplayable. Focus on getting stops, play Thabo and Carrol, give Westbrook the ball.

 

You know it's bad when you could hit 3 times as many 3's in the second half and still only be shooting at 27%

 

At least Westbrook is fun to watch.

 

No bench points and no 3’s.

I’m tired of fun basketball....

 

Tucker is not a starter, when he’s off.. and missing wide open 3s it allows teams to sag in paint basically as if Capela was still here

House sometimes can’t catch or maintain body control ..it’s strange but he has games where he plays like he is dizzy

 

Get the deficit under ten heading into the 4th.


As I type that Russ misses both free throws. This team is streaky at every level of shooting.. so frustrating

LAC is getting SO many questionable calls.

 

Only thing more pathetic than our first half performance is the amount of empty seats in the lower bowl... again.
