It’s painful but goes away the same day. Then it comes back the next day. But it usually ends in a few months for most everyone. It’s really not a big deal.
Imagine if we kept him. Not only would he have been playing heavy minutes while injured, but it might have exacerbated the injury, leading to him being untradeable during the offseason. So we would have both sucked (read: Westbrook not unleashed) and our young center would be worthless if we try to move him.
Clint has a good chance of banking a Morey $500k incentive bonus for 30% DRB% but, he's down to 27.5 mpg, so has to play equivalent of 74 games at that rate to surpass the 2k minute requirement. I'm sure 2k is reduced to less minutes for this year. He's missed 2 games so far.
What's wrong with American rebounding? Over half are european imports, and 25% of the NBA's top rebounding raters are itchy. I blame Russ.
Andre is a true patriot. Our last hope -- a wall -- against Euros owning Top 10 spots. Dude was born in Mt Vernon, NY
Basically to free up a dumbass Russell Westbrook. I’ve always been high on Clint. I knew he could put up these kinds of numbers up next to a badass guard. If we had kept him instead of getting Westbrook, we’d still have a chance. Harden PNR CC was absolutely unstoppable and freed up everyone in the corners.
He would've missed the rest of the season last year, and we needed somebody in the playoffs. At least we got Roco for him which turned into two first round picks and cap space to sign C. Wood. Having Capela right now without Harden, it'd be hard to see him contributing like he is with Trae, he'd lose a lot of value.
