Russ is the real leader of this team. hope him retires a Rockets Harden is not mentally fit to lead a team. he's a good number 2 guy. he needs to realize this himself.
Now we know hikanoo and smoothie kings alternate is. If you going to troll the forum jackass be less obvious. Not mentally fit. Every y at he has led this team to the playoffs Has the most win shares of anyone in the last 6 years Rockets have had 50 plus wins in 5 of the last last 7 years. Scored the most points in the last 7 years then anyone Seriously shut the **** up. The trolling by these clowns lin trolls is off the chart
Bucks lost to the 4th seed (currently) in the East. And Miami is a very good team. Rockets lost to a team that's 2 games ahead of the worst team in the East. And NY is a very bad team.
Rebounding was part of the problem.the issue was the lackadaisical defensive approach in the first half
The Rockets have given clear effort in every game they've played in the small ball era, until last night. Embarrassing effort. They thought they were going to get a free win and chose to not show up. Gonna really hurt when we miss our on that seed we want by one game come April.
The only focus for this team right now should be the Clippers game on Thursday. Going 2-1 against Boston, NY, and LAC would be completely acceptable.
The fact Knicks when up 21 on this team is pathetic already. You come into these games and put teams away.
Acceptable? Sure. I would rather beat both of the contending teams. That bodes well. Wasting a free win, which essentially would cancel out that win you got against Boston/LAC, though? That hurts, especially with how tight seeding is. Maybe it doesn't matter, maybe it does. The Rockets have had about 10 inexplicable losses this year. Same thing happened last year. It adds up. They should have learned.
I agree about the past losses. It reduces our margin of error greatly. Last night's loss feels worse because we've had several of those types of losses earlier this year. In a vacuum though, this iteration of the Rockets would wipe the floor with the team we were putting out there in November/December. We need to continue to stay locked in defensively, and get our shooting back on track. If we do that, we'll win plenty of games moving forward to where HOPEFULLY those early losses don't bite us in the ass.
We also had an 8-game winning streak very early on in the season where we started playing good defense before we slid back into mediocrity on that end after that short stretch.
Rebounding was a HUGE part of the problem. They were absolutely humiliated on the boards. It’s a miracle the game was as close as it was to be perfectly honest.
randle, robinson, and gibson have all given the rockets problems over the years. they should have had a better mindset going into the game.
I agree it was a large part of it, but the issue was so multi layered that it wasn’t just one glaring issue overall. Bad defense No urgency Poor boxing out Bad coaching
Harden starting 0 for 8 from 3 is unacceptable though. He's a better 3 point shooter than that he has to step up.

He’s been garbage from 3 for the majority of 2020. I don’t expect it to change at this point until I see it. Dude has regressed with his offensive consistency.
The team effort to box out and rebound last night was atrocious outside of Covington. EVERY player should be boxing out and rebounding. It's all effort and the Rockets gave none of that until it was too late.
