He's still the main reason we were in this game. We made the comeback with Russ on the Bench.

Im not denying that. But he still wasnt that good by his standards tonight and we lost to the KNICKS..THE KNICKS.

James is probably the main reason we lost, but hes also probably the main reason we were in it. He was fairly terrible tonight.

If only we were a deep team that had multiple big forwards that could take his minutes like Green, Carroll, and Sefalosha......

He definitely was. Box score +/- is not everything. Westbrook doesn't always have the same line up that Harden has when they are out there solo.

Westbrook only lineups have been consistently bad the whole year though.

Well one thing about the way the Knicks defended it seemed they were more concerned with taking away Russ strengths than James. They didn't double James. If he gets to play one on one and shoot so many step backs, we are going to need him to make more outside shots than 3-13. I'm not blaming James this is certainly a team loss but it is very important for us.

Agreed, James was really bad this game. Im very disappointed with him. 3-13 is unacceptable.

You are eating this all up with a **** eating grin aren't you chowd?

LOL - Never have I seen a purported fan so gleeful and prolific after a loss.

Your witch hunt on just Harden after a total team loss outs you again for the hater you are.

he also got beat off the dribble on 2 key fourth Q defensive possessions, and missed the open layup off the westbrook feed late in the 4th that would have been the difference in sending the game to OT. but i'm not going to complain too much about him b/c at least he brings it most nights and plays every game. EGO on the other hand, has managed to put together one of the most pathetic seasons of any rockets rotation player i've seen in 4 decades. and pringles, while still an above-average coach imo, has serious character flaws (ie stubborness) that prevent him from being elite -- he's basically his own worst enemy

Well said. We always need to remember defense first to defense last can always keep us in the game when the shots aren't going in. Good defense can also lead to easy buckets. It's essential for the identity of the team.

We are criticizing both Russ and James, both had bad games. James was really bad and Ive been saying it.

    You are kidding right???

I was one of few members of CF defending CP3 trade for Russ and calling for patience during the growing pains of Russ first 3 months of inefficiency

You may target James but do not assume that I do not support Russ.

    My two cents....
Tonight the Knicks chose Westbrook to slow down instead of doubling the defense on Harden. For most of the game, Harden had single defense on him. But Westbrook when he tried to drive into the paint, even on a fast break, he had 3 defenders plugging the paint. If the Rockets and Harden had hit their threes, we would have won. Tonight the 2 headed monster of Brodie & Beard was shut down. And the rest of the team struggled. Give it to the Knicks, well done. Their defense was great, their shooting was great, their rebounding was great....they deserved the win. It's that simple.
