I wonder How the Rockets will influence College ball
I suspect we will see alot of people using the small ball next year

"Mike D'Antoni is one of the best most creative after time out coaches."

Buh buh buh he does not adjust! BS narrative exposed.

But I do agree that Rockets lack elite on ball defenders. PJ used to be elite, but he has lost a step especially vs. the quicker players. Covington is elite off ball defender but just very good on ball defender.

EGo injury has also made him much less effective than in years past. Demarre is probably the best on ball defender but not elite. Green, when focused, can be near elite but is inconsistent.

House and McLemore are below average on ball defenders.

Really would like Rockets to bring in insurance in event of injury. You long athletic physical players like:

    JONAH BOLDEN
    JUSTIN ANDERSON

If Mike is a medicore coach who is better to take over our team? u keep saying dumbass stuff about how our coach is bad, and our playstyle if just harden dribbling and taking step back 3s but when people ask u to give up names or how to improve, u don't have any viable candidate. Literally just spewing sht.

    Don't start sht if u can't finish.

    The changes that I observed
    1. The shooting accuracy for the whole team suddenly increases a lot
    2. Shot more 2 points for westbrooks is really good and more effective than 3
    3. Previous bench players know how to shoot suddenly
    4. The defence is in good positions, more blocks

    Things for improvement
    1. sign a player who can play more positions and good backup for Gordon. He may have injury. Cp3 is a case for lesson learn.
    2. Improve defence and rebounds
    3. Time out when to call
    4. Time for harden or westbrooks to play
    5. Use 10 man rotation or more
    6. Give more time when new players to play in order to know their strength

Austin Rivers is an elite on ball defender against most guards. He has all the strength, speed and quickness. He just struggles with switching and often gets caught guarding forwards and centers in the paint.

Westbrook is basically guard giannis, so I'd say so.

I feel like Westbrook is getting more catch and shoot opportunities from the 3 point line now. Are there stats to back this up? Also, I feel like he shoots at a higher percentage when it's catch and shoot 3s so is his 3pt percentage up since the trade?

    Anyway, good breakdown.

Yes. That and Giannis is only effective when pointed straight at the basket. He's good at the rim, the paint, the top of the key, but get him out in the flats/wings/corners... say goodnight to the Bucks' offense.
