I am still curious as to whether or not Mets fans will boo Jake, Twins fans will boo Marwin, Nats fans boo Harris, etc. Also curious to see how pure other teams are in case Springer becomes a free agent. After all, they don't want a known cheater on their team - correct?
Eh - fans are hypocrites. Is this news? Just look at what Astros fans were saying about Correa last year and then how that all changed last week.
Did the Tigers fans boo Cameron Maybin today? I didn't hear any boos from the broadcast. Everyone will welcome Springer with open arms. Sports fans (including myself) will always be a bunch of hypocrites.
MLB's official app is great. Once you select the Astros, the app opens directly to the team and all the info and box scores you could want.
I would love for some Astros fans to somehow organize the city and fanbase to ballot stuff the All star game ballots make most of the team be starters be for the game at Dodgers stadium.
Huge blow for the Yankees. No way you can say they’re clear AL favorites anymore. Not with that rotation. It’s gonna be Cole, Tanaka, Happ and then trying to piece together 4 and 5.
I absolutely loathe the Yankees, but I never want to see somebody hurt. Having said that, this isn't hugely surprising. Severino's arm has been a bit of a mess since mid 2018. Anybody that was "expecting" him to return to ace status was being a little delusional.
Agreed. Feel really bad for him. But I do absolutely hate the Yankees, so I love that they’re already dealing with a depleted rotation.
