He wasn't just convicted on one count... he plead guilty on six counts of securities fraud and tax violations after being charged with 98 counts of racketeering and fraud.
I hope Blago's term for "Trumpocrat" sticks. Party of lalala where no one really cares what the other is actually saying as long as they hear their voice on tv and the tone is nice and tan is nice and lots gesticulating as if there is an orchestra of Trumpocrats in the background.

Box 27137 Fort Worth, TX 76127 Media: To best understand Crystal’s case read the following articles MRT: 6/3/2019 Odessan asks Trump for sentence reduction Vice: 1/17/2017 A Mother, Serving 15 Years for mar1juana, Makes Last-Minute Plea for Freedom Rolling Stone: 9/13/2017 Pot Prisoners: Meet Five Victims of the War on Drugs Ladybud: April 14, 2015 No More Drug War: Mother Crystal Munoz doing 19 years for DEA Set Up “Her nightmare began when DEA agents visited Munoz’s home. They assured the young mother of an infant daughter, who happened to be pregnant with her third child at the time, that she was not in any kind of trouble. The agents claimed they merely needed to speak with Crystal to get a few questions answered and details cleared up about an incident that had taken place 3 years earlier.” (taken from article in Ladybud link above) In Crystal’s Word: I basically spoke to the DEA without a lawyer prior to the indictment and admitted to drawing a map nearly 3 years prior. They came to my home and asked if I would be willing to speak with them, and assured me that I was not in trouble. They asked me to help them, and I did. The map circumvented a check point where drugs were being trafficked, and I knew the backroads on the Native American reservation where I lived. There was never any drugs seized from me personally. The drug quantities were based on 2 separate loads of mar1juana and multiplied by 2 due to the testimony of the people who were actually caught trafficking pot nearly 3 years prior. I was connected with these people because I knew them and why they were in prison. Each person received 5-7 year sentences. They used “reasonably foreseeable” and “relevant conduct” to attribute the amounts. I also received additional points for leadership role (because I drew the map), and for my prior misdemeanors. What Clemency Would Mean to Me: I was pregnant when I was indicted and a had a 4 month old daughter at the time of my arrest, so I was in custody during the birth of our second daughter. I had a son who choked to death at school when he was 5 yrs old. I was very vulnerable as a pregnant woman with an infant. The pain of any mother being severed from her babies is nothing less than torture. Receiving clemency would alter my whole future, and the future of my spouse and children…not to mention my other family members, who sacrifice their time to help take care of my children. Clemency means that I can be a mother to my children and a wife to my husband, Ricky Munoz. I year to be there to feed them, take them to school, and help raise them, plus help with daily and financial responsibilities. It would mean that they would have their mom present in their lives. The notion of being absent until they are full grown women is beyond painful. My parents and grandparents also need my support as they grow old. It would mean the world to me, and to them for me to receive mercy in the form of a commutation of my sentence. I would be grateful for the rest of my life for this type of mercy being shown on our behalf. My whole heart is leaning toward expressing gratitude towards President Trump and his office for doing such a commendable work for so many families. I can only hope and pray that I would be one of the recipients of such a great gift of mercy.
Good vibes there. Great smokescreen for an overall corrupt minded abuse of power. Soviets and the rest of autocratic states love that little trick too. I think there was something about Barr wanting to go after drug related crimes instead of white collar crimes,, so color me unconvinced about Trump's good policy based intentions when this is mainly a quid pro quo with long term intentions of setting up groundwork for helping his cronies. Also, further undermining the integrity of the judicial system and DOJ.
Blagojevich's hair is stunning especially considering just being released after so many years. Dude looks better than ever. Club Fed
"I Covered Blago’s Trial From Start To Finish. Trump’s Commutation Isn’t Crazy": https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/02/18/covered-blagojevich-trial-trump-commutation-115903 excerpt: U.S. District Judge James Zagel handed down a 14-year sentence to Blagojevich. Prosecutors had calculated that under federal guidelines, Blagojevich’s crimes technically qualified for 30 years to life in prison, but they asked for 15 to 20 years. Among Blagojevich’s crimes: lying to the FBI, trying to sell President Barack Obama’s old Senate seat and holding up money to a children’s hospital and a racetrack in exchange for campaign contributions. Zagel, as it happens, was the same judge who in 2009 had sentenced mob informant Nick Calabrese to 12 years in prison. Calabrese helped take down the Chicago mob. He also killed 14 people. I’ve written hundreds of stories, blog posts, magazine articles and, finally, a book on Blagojevich’s case. There was one sentiment I heard over and over again, which went something like, “I know Blagojevich was guilty as hell, but 14 years is insane.”
Julian Assange alleged in court today that he was offered a pardon from Trump via Dana Rohrbacher if he would cover up Russia hacking the DNC

Hall had in her possession one-half pound of crack cocaine, one-half pound of powder cocaine, 12 kilogram wrappers, approximately 13 pounds of baking soda and two firearms, including a Tec-9 loaded with 27 rounds believed to be used in drive-by shootings.
I have no stance one way or another on her case, but just want to ask,,,are you always this careless with your facts. That’s not her charge. Lazy posting
The one guy I trust less than Trump, great. Besides, it doesn't matter. The Senate already said abusing power was cool.
