And to add further, just two weeks prior he did get his shirt ripped off on a walk-off and was not thrilled about it (which is what likely led to him demanding they don't do it). Shockingly, there was no buzzer then as well. Those were his only two walk-off HR's. He did have a walk-off walk earlier in the year. I'm sure they'll complain that he kept his shirt on for that too...
Wouldn't want that cheater Gerrit Cole on your team, would you? https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/...eves-the-astros-were-cheating-in-2019-season/ "Yeah. For sure," Torres told reporters, including SNY's Andy Martino, when asked whether he believes the Astros were cheating in 2019. Manfred said Astros players denied cheating in 2019 during the investigation, and he believes them because they were forthright and consistent with their testimony regarding 2017 and 2018. Here's what Manfred said Sunday: Torres, obviously, does not buy it. "I don't believe them," he told ESPN's Marly Rivera. "If you cheated in 2017 and you won, why wouldn't cheat the next year?" Torres told reporters, including MLB.com's Bryan Hoch and Rivera. "If I played video games with you and I see your controller, I'll know what's coming. I will hit really well and I will win. And if you tell me we're playing again, I'll do the same thing because I won."
I like to know who's idea it came from? It seems like something Mike Trout would participate since he knows everything about the Stros.
And that same logic applies to Beltran. I like it put this way (have seen it on Twitter a couple times) Beltran 2014 - Yankees - Not a cheater Beltran 2015 - Yankees - Not a cheater Beltran 2016 - Yankees - Not a cheater Beltran 2017 - Astros - CHEATER!!! Beltran 2018 - Yankees - Not a cheater Beltran 2019 - Yankees - Not a cheater
No I didn't. I don't think the Astros are above cheating. The Astros are like every other team, they have or will bend the rules and flat out break them. FWIW the Astros had more than just Cammy and Clemens using steroids/HGH.... I was working around those Clemens teams, there were others cheating.
Here u go -80% of Dodgers were on steroids and y’all still couldn’t win. https://www.espn.com/los-angeles/ml...ercent-los-angeles-dodgers-teammates-were-hgh
Not to mention the best record in all of baseball that will never ever be broken. Astros would have over 130 wins if this ever happened which it won't but pretty funny that someone would bring that up.
Ha, I didn't see this comment yet before I posted above but 130 wins was my first thought. Would be pretty wild to go 130-32.
