No. The worst is if you are a cheap owner, who waited until you could milk every value out of your superstar until he retired ,sold the team for profit and then you had NO championship trophy to take with you to Florida.
Being cheap - AND therefore selling the team, is HONORABLE. That's exactly what any fan would want. An owner with self awareness that can bow-out when he/she realizes they are too small potatoes to contend at the highest level. Too bad our current owner is driven by ego instead of wins. 99'ers are driven by wins.
i wouldn't say never. if he becomes insolvent in other areas, he'll be forced to liquidate what he can still get cash for. particularly since he's heavily leveraged with debt
