Sanders and Buttigieg are firmly in their #1 and #2 trenches, but spots 3-5 are going to be super interesting to follow. This could be the end of Warren's campaign if she falls to 5th (or even 4th), and conversely, it could be Klobuchar's breakout moment. No matter 3rd or 5th Biden will keep derping his way to Super Tuesday hoping for that supposedly inevitable firewall to show itself. The real interesting stuff will happen after New Hampshire, because that's when all the puffery goes out the window and we start to see who is actually built to make it to the convention and who blew their load exclusively in the early states.
That’s one of the 10 or so states I haven’t been to. Embarrassing enough I don’t think I could pick it out on a map. Pathetic lol
Man, Warren really screwed up. She should have drafted off of Bernie and then attacked. She hit the nos too early and now she's being passed up. Warren teamed up with Klobuchar in the last debate, now she is being lapped. Klobuchar and Pete spitting the moderate vote is fantastic news for Bernie.
Yes, that's my take as well. Biden was the biggest hurdle for Bernie. The longer this split by moderates, the better Bernie's chances of just stringing along victories, collecting delegates, and staying at the top of the race. Buttigieg and Klobuchar haven't shown the ability to move the needle among black voters, which was key to Biden's threat of a moderate majority.
Only 1.5 tiny states in, but I have a hard time seeing Bernie not being the nominee. Biden is in life support, Warren in a similar boat. Never really expected anyone else to have a realistic chance.
